I know exactly what im talking about, and you do too, sad you will say im wrong while its you totally lying. I would respect you more if you would just admit it and say you aren't leaving |
I have no clue on what people have bet but I will weigh in on one thing that has bugged me for awhile. The "leave for x amount of time" bets are dumb.
New policy: They will NEVER be enforced by me or the other mods. On the other hand, I have no problem enforcing sig bets and all other manner of punishments for people running their mouth and being wrong. |

just something he threw out there to tell people how sure he was he was right. he brought it up quite a few times and was so sure of himself he should at least say he was wrong. I don't even want him gone |

I will leave if Alex does this, though. I am a man of my word.

I thought when we signed him he was average but he is better than a lot of the QB's in the league.. And he got us to the Playoffs so yes he needs a 5 year contract.. probably 10 million first year against the cap, 20 million for the remainder with 39 million guaranteed.. payable in the first 3 years.

Why would anyone wish for our QB to reduce his level of play to that of Geno? We already endured 4 years of Cassel. I don't want to relive that... |
I made a thread about it at the beginning of the year, arguing Andy Reid may turn Smith into Rich Gannon, and he seems to have succeeded. Like Gannon, Smith IS a game manager but is so smart (and pretty athletic) that he's a game manager who not only doesn't lose games but wins them.

i'm pretty sure RunKC is going to have control of my username and signature for an entire year, that's punishment enough.

The butt hurt that Clay leaves people has always been amazing to me.

Why should Clay be given special treatment, other than the fact that you actually support his point of view? If I had been wrong, on everything I had said, and I had made numerous bets that I kept losing, you would NEVER let me hear the end of it. Why should people let Clay slide? |

An example has to be made here, but I damn sure don't want Clay to be banned. I have made tons of money betting the opposite of his predictions. Thousands over the years! Do NOT take that away from me please.

We beat the Raiders, let's not get too excited.
It looks like Alex has progressed from being a liability against the Raiders to being an asset, though, in two short months. |

you let him out of his bet with you. better pick something great, not good. post it and let us vote or something |
I always joked that this place would complain if we won the Super Bowl... the QB threw 5 TD passes today and we're sitting here arguing over the distance they were thrown. This might literally be one of the top 10 dumbest football discussions ever.

I just want Smith to do what he did the first time against the Chargers just need one once of Defense and the Chiefs can win against just about everyone. But he has to do it more then once |
Let's wait and see what Alex Smith does in the playoffs.
Has he been an upgrade over the Chiefs QB situation last year? Obviously yes, that isn't hard to do. Has he exceed expectations? Yes But it is going to take more than two good games against terrible teams to determine if he is the answer at QB to advance the Chiefs in the playoffs. |

It's not like Alex Smith was out there making a bunch of hard NFL throws.
I saw one, maybe two of those today. It was nice Jamaal padded Alex's stats, though. That is what happened, and let's not get it twisted. |

I mean, something like 75% of Peyton Manning's yardage has come after the catch this season.

Another awesome game by Alex Smith that clay turns into another attention whoring session about himself.

I mean, you're so far up his ass, I figured you'd know. Auditioning for SDH 's position? :D |
I remember that when Oakland started storming back with all of the momentum, and we needed our offense to take that momentum back?
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CoiXdOz3Vw...0/charless.gif now I don't know about yall, but that pass didn't look like a behind the LOS or minimal screen pass to me.... |

Yeah, but did he do a flying somersault after throwing that pass? I think no, he's obviously useless. :D |
Actually a lot of the time the offensive line deserves a lot of credit too on screen plays... if they don't get out in space and pick up defenders the screen gets blown up. Anybody who has actually watched Chiefs football in the last 10 years should understand that.

Face it....Manning has padded his stats against the Chiefs 2 times , and our defense has been pathetic recently. |
@StevePalazzolo: Geno Smith finished with four air yards on his eight completions. 111 of his 115 yards came after the catch Vs Saints
|
Clay trollin like a typical teenager.

So you need to adjust your % of credit otherwise you are looking bad here. |
