The one thing that concerns me about game 7 is that the approach that the Giants have taken against the Royals bullpen the past two nights -- just put barrel to ball, not trying to do too much -- ought to work pretty well against Guthrie. Guthrie doesn't have a putaway pitch on the level of Shields' changeup or Ventura's pure stuff. We're going to need more from the infield defense.

That's how they play... and it's why they scared me more than the last couple opponents. We just have to be more scrappy than they are.

I wonder if this postseason is going to legitimately change the game and bring teams back to focusing on contact more. The Royals were last in K's by over 100 and it's obviously helped them in the playoffs. I saw someone mention a couple weeks ago... teams that made more contact won playoff series X percentage of the time. Forget what it was, but it was a high percentage.

We are in the World Series.

Everyone just needs to sit back, relax, and enjoy game 6. If we lose, we still have a ton to be proud of as fans. What a great, great, great resilient badass team.

I'm proud of them either way...winning games 6 and 7 would be epic, though. Either way, I'm going to really enjoy it.

i hope you guys have one more miracle in ya. I have to be honest the way you beat Oakland and got to the World series I really thought you guys were going to take this and you still can. I really hurt for you guys, I don't want those jagoffs to hoist that trophy again, it's killing me inside.

Tickets face value, just had to get down to San Fran from PDX and hotel. Then over to KC, stay with friends, fly back to PDX. Actually not bad if you get tickets at face.
