There are no comp pick players who will be free agents on this team.

No one worth the qualifying offer is coming up to free agency.

Prison Bitch 06-20-2018 12:49 PM

Tiny Tim Collins hadn't pitched since 2014.

He's back in the bigs with the Nats now.

Congrats Tiny Tim

Not the worst idea. Might as well throw the Storm Chasers at Detroit.

Seems kind of racist against the traditionally poorer Latin American countries. There should just be ONE draft IMO. What is the obstacle in doing that? There is no reason a talented player from Latin American shouldn't command the same signing bonus of an American player of the same talent level.

Pratto received 3.5M no problem.

Might as well have the Storm Chasers play Detroit. They might actually win.

It's because attendance is so pathetic they had to find another way to make a buck. Another of my 2017 statements looming correct once again.

ChiefsCountry 06-20-2018 03:09 PM

Baseball does a game like this at the Little League World Series. Makes sense to do it at the College World Series as well.

KCUnited 06-20-2018 03:14 PM

Might as well just start playing at the Little K.

ChiefsCountry 06-20-2018 03:21 PM

Royals are #24 in attendance.

gblowfish 06-20-2018 03:38 PM

Royals have only won ten home games this year. That's pretty awful.

Not horrible given the record and the fact that isnt some up and coming team. Just a bunch of old dudes on the way out the door for the most part. No reason to watch really.

A few years ago you claimed KC was more of a baseball town than a football town.

#26. Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City is the lowest on this list of any division winner in the NFL.

They drew an average of 66,861 fans per game this season, which equated to an 88 percent full rate at home, and 96 percent full on the road.

Was reading this article about the 2015 run. Escobar led the team in hits in the postseason, hitting 23 times with a .329 batting average, 15 game hitting streak.

I forgive you for sucking Escobar. You were good when it mattered.
