ChiefsPlanet - Movies and TV The Walking Dead ***With Comic Spoilers***

The writing has been so contrived this whole 2nd season. I've been steadily losing interest in this show. It's so meh at this point in time. I still watched the last episode, but man, I'm quickly realizing I'm caring less and less.

I'm in the same boat. The 2nd season has slowly been putting me to sleep and it's not because I need constant action.

The show is pretty much better than anything else on tv this time of year.

I'm sure the last 2 episodes will be great. This last one was ok, really. At least it's consistent.

I tried Archer via Netflix and I just can't get into it...

I want to watch Justified but I'll wait until I can get caught up.

This has never been a fantastic show, but the 2nd season has actually been better than the first (which was pretty weak apart from 2-3 episodes).

I agree completely. The first had the impetus of z-poc behind it. Now they're trying to see if they can bridge the gap to a long living show that doesn't just follow the z-poc formula (humans get overwhelmed, humans look desparate, few survivors live survivalist lives, human ingenuity begins to come together, humans pull some macgyver shit and kick zombie ass). If they're going to do it, it's going to take going deeper, fleshing out characters, and building some story arcs that don't involve zombies.

They've certainly floundered this season, but they're getting stronger as they build on their themes, imo.

People can complain, but it still beats any of the shit on the "networks". Now, that is garbage TV.

What network shows do you watch?

I'd argue that Fringe is a great deal better than The Walking Dead.
