That's awful. No matter who you root for, this is not something you wish on anyone. (Especially such a seemingly high character guy like Shazier)

Welp!! NFL has their feel good story now. Steelers win the Super Bowl and did it for Shazier.
Kinda like how Martin Truex won the NASCAR championship with his girlfriend overcoming cancer. Such a beautiful story. |
This sucks. Bad technique. I'm all for removing helmets and going back to leather style or a rugby style helmet. I think this will eliminate most head injuries and certainly injuries like this.
