That's awful. No matter who you root for, this is not something you wish on anyone. (Especially such a seemingly high character guy like Shazier)

**** that sucks. He was one of the best young LBs in the game.

Terrible but it was preventable all with proper technique.. poor guy best of luck to him

The vast majority will lead with their head down from time to time. I ****ing cringe every time I see a player do this.

These guys don’t care about sacrificing their body when the adrenaline is kicking but I’d be okay with sacrificing big hrs for safer football

Welp!! NFL has their feel good story now. Steelers win the Super Bowl and did it for Shazier.

Kinda like how Martin Truex won the NASCAR championship with his girlfriend overcoming cancer. Such a beautiful story.

This sucks. Bad technique. I'm all for removing helmets and going back to leather style or a rugby style helmet. I think this will eliminate most head injuries and certainly injuries like this.
