I've had several broken over me. Body parts include the knuckles, ass, back and shoulder.

Jesus showed kindness and compassion to the outcasts of society...the prostitutes, the lepers, the beggers, the outsiders (samaritans).

He admonished the clergy for being uncompassionate to those that didn't follow the letter of church doctrine.


It seems that even a couple thousand years isn't enough time for some clergy to change there ways.

A couple of things reading all of this.........

1. That Pastor Mike did not respond, but I am sure that he prayed about it and for those that are not believers.

So belittle me, I don't care to speak my mind as most know.

2. The sign..I understand from being a Christian, but it was hurtful at this time in point....Something different could have been put up to call in the sheep/lambs

The thing that does not surprise me is that that sign is on a baptist church.

Probably Southern Baptist.
