Helton is one of the most underrated players in MLB in my opinion ... He is solid ... He reminds me of George Brett in a weird way, I hope he plays his entire career in Colorado.

Carmona looks sharp in the 1st against the Yankees.

tk13 10-05-2007 05:44 PM

Nats have stormed the field and taken over the Yankees-Indians game.

L.A. Chieffan 10-05-2007 05:48 PM

Gnats or Nationals?

tk13 10-05-2007 05:49 PM

They are literally spraying all the players and the entire infield with bug repellant. Cleveland is cursed with bad weather. Snow, lake fires, swarms of insects.

The insect. They are EVERYWHERE. You can see them swarming all around the pitching mound and batters box. It is ridiculous. The last AB between Carmona and Minky(keiweiwewicz) literally took several minutes because each side kept stepping off the rubber/out of the box to clear away the bugs.

This is pretty funny

tk13 10-05-2007 05:54 PM

Haha, there are literally 10-20 bugs on Joba Chamberlain's neck, and 10-20 more on the top of his hat. And he's clearly struggling to pitch through it. Walked the first batter on 4 pitches, and now threw a wild pitch.

Bugeater 10-05-2007 05:54 PM

This is crazy, I've never seen anything like this before.

the Talking Can 10-05-2007 05:57 PM

are they playing in a Panama jungle?

kstater 10-05-2007 05:58 PM

If the gnats were at a Cubs game there would be riots.

And wild pitch to tie it

tk13 10-05-2007 05:58 PM

Another wild pitch, and we're tied. This is insane.

the Talking Can 10-05-2007 05:58 PM

is Cleveland just a rotting carcass?
