They quit crowding the line of scrimmage, lo and behold, we had a bit of a running game. You'd think this might be a wake-up call to our offensive staff and head coach that if defenses had to honor our passing game, maybe we could run the ball a little. I realize passing vertically in order to open up the running game is "arena ball" philosophy, someone should tell the rest of the NFL.

In this case Autumn Wind is right. LJ's stats on Sunday were completely meaningless. He did seem to run more determined than he has this season but that isn't saying much. LJ is nothing special without a good or great offensive line. He will never be productive with this roster. And to say the Raiders would want him is comical. The Chiefs should get anything they can for LJ ASAP. By the time our online is good he will be completely worthless.

To me they were both the same. They were great as long as the offensive line could give them some help. Neither one is/was anything special. They should never be mentioned in the same breath as a Tomlinson or Peterson. They are more along the lines of a Shawn Alexander. On the right team LJ could be an extremely productive back but this isn't that team and never will be that team while that potential is still in him.

Tomlinson would suck on this team. The only back in history that might not would be Barry Sanders.
