Funny how he finds a way to get worked up about this stuff, but when 810 carried the Royals and Fescoe's credentials were revoked he had nothing to say.

Today was just the opposite. KK was using quotes from the 610 interview yesterday morning saying that George was two faced. It was a train wreck considering the way he sucked up to George yesterday. Hey KK why not be a man and call George an A-hole to his face instead of waiting 24 hours.

I had to disagree with george he said the easiest thing to do is for fans media to sit back and say "this this and this" when shit goes wrong, that you would have done things different. For how much of an ass KK, Clinkscale, petro can be. Even when shit works they state facts to back up why they would have done shit different and what was wrong with the moves. The fact is Brett, Frank White, all these old school players still like to avoid the stats provided with them and would rather bunt players over, steal bases, etc. I have no doubt that Rany could probably whip out a stat book telling brett why a move is wrong and he would whip it out and piss on his stat book on the 17th green

Stats are for those not good enough to play or manage. Makes them feel part of the game. Players, Managers and Management all feel the same way. Baseball has always worked like that.

Keitz and Harry have accomplished their life-goal of seeing Carl fired. They must now move on to another sacrificial lamb.

It's sad.

If people weren't into the stats about sports because they can't play baseball wouldn't exist. George Brett would still be working at McDonalds scooping fries. I grew up thinking George Brett was the greatest but he just needs to shut the **** up.

That's always his schtick.

His balls get much bigger when he doesn't have the subject on the line live.

He's a dirtbag coward. Again - I don't understand why anyone would listen to him.

If you don't listen to him then how do you know what he does?

Who cares about Keitzman and Harry, they can take care of themselves.

The reality is that George Brett told everyone that plays armchair GM/HC to **** off. He indirectly told every fan to pretty much **** off since we all play GM/HC. Think about it.

Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner!

IMO the only question now is will their new "sacrificial lamb" be Dayton Moore or Trey Hillman?

Well, Pioli would have them killed outright, so no-go there. I'm guessing their beef with the Royals has to do with bad game management, much in the same way Herm was just a god-awful field general. I don't know or follow baseball at all, but I'm guessing there isn't as much parity in the MLB system as there is in the NFL.
The Royals market doesn't help much either I'm guessing. It's probably hard to get good players to come to KC, so when a guy like Greinke starts to pop, the fans and the media start getting pissed because everyone around the "star" isn't playing up to his level.
And hardcore MLB fans are more vitriolic than football fans, and have been that way for a long time.

What you fail to understand is that is not just George...it is the mentality of baseball. If I were to ask you which is the bigger/more big league city Jacksonville, FL or Milwaukee, WI what would be your answer? Please be truthful.

I haven't listened to KK in years, but I listened to him when I first moved to KC.
