I learned that fairly quickly in USMC boot camp

Pretty much how I see it.

Not realizing how bad our offensive line was until the 3rd game in the preseason is inexcusable.

Ndukwe, Alleman and O'callaghan are not good linemen. They were the best we could get because we sat on our hands so long. The point is that we had a bunch of much better options earlier in the preseason, but for whatever reason, the front office didn't make it a priority.

I think that goes back to what I said though..

They had the 3rd pick and they were making a move for Cassel they blew their signing bonus cash on those 2 players.

The Chiefs don't go big market and drop 100 mill on bonuses in 1 year.

This.

It's unfathomable to me that the "Executive of the Decade" has been so bad at talent evaluation over the past 9 months.

When you trade for a guard then make him a tackle it's pretty obvious what is going to happen.

While that might be true, the upgrades that were available could have been signed for peanuts (especially through the draft). That might explain why they didn't go after Olshansky and Canty. But it doesn't explain the o-line.

I don't think not making it a priority is the reason. I think they mis-evaluated what we had which is a big mistake and I won't argue that. I don't think they thought these guys would be top notch, I think they were banking on servicable until they had time to get what they wanted.

As long as they don't repeat the mistake, which the last regime did for a while, I can live with it. They do it again and that's another issue.

Not at all.

I think most people would have expected the "Executive of the Decade" to bring someone in that is an upgrade before cutting someone loose.

Mac caught a lot of shit on this board, but he's a ****ing All-Pro compared to Ndukwe.

Well a guy like Jason Brown signed with the Rams because of how much money he got there.

You guys state the team was untaleneted last year going into this year and now you expect them to do a 180 in 1 offseason.

Your geniuses.

Imrpovement and change go hand in hand. McSacintosh wasn't cutting it. So you have to make a change and hope for improvment. If we don't improve we repeat the process until we do.

He wasn't consumed by rage today. He actually kept it in check VERY well.
