The thing about the double standard is the implication that all female students don't want to have sex with attractive male teachers. It's very possible that in some male teacher/female student cases, the female student "wanted it" as much as a male student would "want it" in a similar situation. And yet I don't think anybody would be high fiving if a high school girl got to bang the George Clooney lookalike who teaches AP Calc.

Regardless of consent and the sexiness of the parties involved, this sort of conduct is illegal and unethical and shouldn't really be celebrated the way it inevitably is in these sorts of threads. There's a reason we have age of consent laws, and it's to protect kids from being taken advantage of by adults, even if the kids think they "want it."

The male student/female teacher thing will always get joked about.

The other way not so much.

In my opinion it's simply a matter of physical strength. A high school male would be able to over power this chick at any time so the general population doesn't see it as a tremendously dangerous situation.

If some grown male was ****ing my high school daughter I would beat the shit out of him. At any given time he could do that to her... not worth the risk.

If I was a father of a 16 year old girl and a 16 year old guy, I wouldn't care if my son was banging a bunch of older women. If my 16 year old daughter is getting banged by an older man, however, I'm grabbing a baseball bat and taking someone's ability to walk away from them, I don't care if it nets me jail time.
