Yet RT is a revolving down that continuously gives up pressures and hits on our QB's. Yeah, not a need at all.....

A good line will make a mediocre QB look great, and allow you to run the ball.

First hand experience right here, listen to the man.

It's part of the offensive line and every position on the offensive line is important.

I'd reccommend that you go back, rewind the tapes of past Chiefs games and just see how Richardson is a revolving door and couldn't pass protect if his life depended on it.

He is a big part of the reason why the Chiefs offense is at the basement in passing offense every year.

*Pass protection bro. Chiefs lack it.

*W/ no pass protection its harder to develop a passing game.

LMAO Matt Cassel and Tyler Palko...that is why the Chiefs are 30th in passing.

Also true. But that doesn't mean we should neglect the RT position and release players that are Clearly more talented than the guy you have starting.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly that when I was typing. I'm surprised any Chiefs fan would have to be reminded of it. I still savor the memories of that KC-BAL game (MNF?) where Ray Lewis just got wtfpwnt over and over again.

I have more memories of Elway, Manning and Marino ****ing us more than our line knocking people us out.

Chief fans have way too much obession over offensive lineman.

You're going a little overboard and attempting to create a straw man that isn't there.

No one is suggesting that RT is a more important position than QB.

But that doesn't mean we should make a habit of sitting a guy who is infinitely more talented than the guy we are trotting out there, and then to just release him so that we can promote an undrafted FA who was on our practice squad.

Also, we are playing a left handed QB right now. I don't think that any position on the field is as meaningless as you're suggesting. QB is far and away the most important position, but it isn't by any means the ONLY position that matters.

You can have 5 Hall of Fame O-lineman, but when you are trotting out Howdy-Doody at QB it won't win shit.

You can however win a championship with a shitty RT and below average line with an elite QB.
