That may be the most desperate thing I've heard from a Chiefs fan. LMAO

Why? What is so good about his history? He either misses the playoffs or gets booted in the first round every year. 1 super bowl appearance that he lost...

I've been sharing. Check my last couple of posts.

When Pioli traded for Matt Cassel, I deferred to his supposed insider knowledge of Cassel, but commented that I thought because of this insider knowledge, he was effectively betting his job on the trade, because he would look like a joke if Cassel didn't pan out...

Well, all this talk about whether Haley sucks or not....the fact of the matter is that Pioli in fact did fail in his gamble with Cassel. This press conference is about the termination of Todd Haley's contract, but really should be about the fact that we have wasted 3 years because of Pioli's bad bet and now must start over.

The biggest upside is it sounds like he didn't like Cassel so he would be shown the door.

After reading all this it just solidifies my belief Haley kept playing Palko because he was trying to get fired.

Teams they played.

I see no other proven winners.

Doubtful, but I don't discount that Weis had a sense that Haley would be getting fired soon, which makes being in the same vicinity as the Chiefs bearable to him...

Is this post from last year's draft?

Dayze 12-12-2011 01:34 PM

word is they're bringing in Jared Lorenzen to play QB and NT.

He's worth a shot. Top caliber draft prospect sitting under Tom Brady with some NFL experience at hand.

Sounds a lot more promising than spending a 1st on Barkley or Landry Jones.

That said, I'd rather have RG3 or Peyton Manning.

It's called leadership.

It is one thing to voice your disagreement, but once the decision is made, it is made.

Acting like a spoiled brat doesn't help.

One man's "spoiled brat" is another man's "leader." It's all in the perception, my friend.

Well we are gonna find out pretty soon if Pioli is tied to Cassel. Maybe Pioli listened to Weis while he was here and will move on and flush the turd.

Not really, given that there was no other option. Haley does come off as rather childish though that he was resentful that Weis got the credit. This will be entertaining, and gives me hope we may not be stuck with McDaniels + Cassel.

Tyson Jackson was just another prime example of a Pioli pick.

Haley is just a scapegoat in this trainwreck.

Nailed it on all counts.
