1. HC
2. QB
3. Tyson Jackson
4. The rest of that draft class.

The reason I separated Jackson from the class is that the pick was so high, it had to be a home run. Fail.

Now we sit here waiting to see what he does next and all the clues point to hiring Crennel and bringing in McDouche. This is just so short-sighted and frustrating to hear. He has to make an impact hire, or the dude ends up a complete and utter failure.

I would swap QB and HC. Why any GM would bring in a new QB before bringing in the new HC is just beyond me. Complete lunacy.

I can totally sum up my thoughts in three words...

OHHH **** NO!

He didn't. Cassel was traded a month after Haley was hired.

Jack Del Rio would be a "proven" coach in the way Rich Kotite would be a "proven" coach... a proven loser.

Jeff Fisher would be the perfect candidate if Pioli wants to go the safe, proven coach route.

Do you read the bullshit you write?

Fisher the perfect candidate? The perfect candidate for what? To continue going .500?

Jack Del Rio fired more of his staff than Haley ever dreamed of. Every time they had a crappy season (all but 2 yrs), he kept his job by firing the guys that worked so hard for him. He's a tool.

that's all.

So either:
A. He has already been hired by the chiefs as head coach.
B. Pioli is laughing at chiefsplanet.

Or....

C. Rotoworld is coming up a BIG zero. Because I just linked on a post where they passed along the story that the Chiefs had already requested permission to speak to McShort Bus.

I can't imagine that after what went down between Del rio and Otis Taylor the Hunt family would even consider Jack for this position.

Ex-Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio will reportedly interview for the Chiefs' head-coaching vacancy on Friday.Del Rio compiled a 69-73 record over nine years in Jacksonville before becoming the first head-coaching casualty of the season in November. The Chiefs have already interviewed Packers OC Joe Philbin and ex-Titans coach Jeff Fisher, though neither is considered a legit candidate to be hired over interim coach Romeo Crennel. Just my opinion
