I sincerely hope not. A 36 year old qb coming off 4 neck surgeries that hasn't taken a live snap in over a year is not the solution, even when said qb is a first ballot hof'er.

Denver's weapons on offense are garbage

CoMoChief 03-09-2012 05:07 AM

Miller, Dumervil, Clady.......that's all Denver has that's worth a shit.

And the Chiefs weapons are overrated. Bowe puts up numbers because they have nobody else. Breaston is overrated because what he did with Warner 3 years ago. And Baldwin never did anything but make a few crazy catches, kinda reminds me of Ashley Lelie.

We have Charles and that's. Everybody saying how talented we are really needs to get a clue.

Look at who's been QB the past 3 years dumbass.

Look at what Manning has done w/ scrub WR's in Indy....turned them into viable starting threats in the NFL.

Manning > Warner, Manning would immediately make every player on this offense A LOT better. QB was the only thing missing from this offense....maybe a little Oline help, but our Oline got blamed a lot because of who was behind center.

You can say what you want about Baldwin, but this is someone that would be able to practice w/ Manning an entire offseason etc. Not gonna bail on the guy after one (rookie) season where he missed a bunch of time.

bowe put up nearly 1000 yards his rookie year with tony gonzalez still on the team. explain that one.

Baldwin is a rookie. its well documented that rookie recievers dont tend to break out. just ask demarious thomas.

Steve breaston is a legit #2 reciever in the league.

There is nobody on the broncos offensive roster that i would take over our players at any position.

MagicHef 03-09-2012 05:58 AM

If I were Manning, I would choose the Chiefs. If I were the Broncos, I would do whatever I could to drive the price up.

I think you'd take Franklin over Richardson. Other than that... yeah.

The Chiefs have some excellent players. That'll happen when you consistently draft in the top ten. :p

When they list Anthony Fasano as one of the reasons, it's a bunk article.

I would also think that coaching staff is a huge ? for Peyton.

Reggie Bush? A guy who put together about 8 games? Ha.

The Dolphins should honestly be at the bottom. They've swung and missed more the last 2 years than Mike Jacobs.

I still doubt that the interest being expressed by Denver is sincere with Manning. And, regarding the talent on Denver... Thomas and Decker have done very well, they're not consistently proven top threat guys yet, but last year was their 2nd season in the league and with a 2nd QB with an offense that didn't pass a ton, and they still did pretty well.

I think we'll see a nice improvement with them this year - the jury is still out, but to suggest that they're garbage is silly.

And, I agree with this ... ideally, I think KC would make the most sense because of what I mentioned before (coaching would be more apt to let him do his thing, RC is more defensive focused like Dungy and the division is weaker).

They are garbage. But you've got orange and blue glasses on. But yeah, they are garbage.

Right, I'm the only one looking at it through team colored glasses... Thomas and Decker are garbage, but Breaston is one of the best #2 options in the league and Baldwin has the potential to be better than Marshall. (all things that have been mentioned in this thread)
