Well, that was pretty stupid really. Pretty classless. I'm a Hog fan. I don't defend Petrino at all. The guy is an amazing football coach and I hate to lose that. I'm afraid it's going to take a pretty serious toll in recruiting. Not sure keeping him is worth that depending on what replacement could find. I can tell you that Mizzou's fans' opinions won't mean a rat's arse in any decision made and I would lay $50 on the table that we beat you 70% over the next 10 years regardless.

If this guy was an average coach, he would have already been fired. How good the coach is should have 0 impact on that question, but wins and losses are going to make this decision. Most likely they lose the swimming coach even though he didn't do anything wrong. If the administration caves on this issue, they have 0 moral ground to stand on in trying to punish their athletes for any mistakes they make.

Arkansas has some great history and their football program has produced some big names through the years. It's too bad late comers like FL (and their fans) don't understand this.

Well we did win a national championship. Of course it was before I was born, but you did emphasize EVER.

Arkansas has a pretty respectable football program over the course of their history. I'm definitely not a Hogs fan, but to say they've never been worth a shit in football....what?
