you are so goddamn up your own ass you cant see how full of shit you are. next you'll be telling us how soldiers come from soldier families -- not american families.

Shit post.

It is the will of the people that keeps all these freedoms as current today as when they were first written down in Philly.

But it is the solider who protects us from those who would take them away by force. They sacrifice not only for their families freedom but for the greater good, for us. That is not something to belittle.

There was once a time when being a soldier was a reason to be proud of a brother/sister/uncle/dad/etc.

The willingness of a man to sacrifice of himself despite the fact people will hate and fear him (wait, this has popped up in pop culture lately.......where oh where.....?) is not only imperative to our way of life but should be applauded.

Once upon a time devoting yourself to the military was considered (and should be) the definition of valor.

AND YES - military pride breeds pride the way doc's breed doc's and lawyers breed lawyers...

american civilian women were instrumental in america winning perhaps the most ferocious war in the history of man, WWII. bet that just pisses you off.

the weapons & technologies your beloved soldiers are using to police terrorism around the world are designed, built and sold by civilian americans.

**** you for suggesting soldiers are the only ppl america should be proud of.

You really are an over emotional lil fella....Nowhere did I see any reference to women doing anything or that members of the military should be the only ones Americans should be proud of.

Like me having my head shoved up my 4th point of contact. You know little, you ASSume too much of too many, while sitting behind a keyboard.

FYI champ, there are a wide variety of Non US citizens serving in the US Military, many of them are striving to become citizens.

Let me take a guess that you don't have a DD214 ?

Enjoy your holiday weekend...

Tuck all your own emo beliefs and imaginary persecutions into your next double-anal-cappuchino and force-blast them up your ass until those $#itty ideas explode out your ears and leave your head forever.

We owe a huge debt to a great number of people.

Just because I rank some over others doesn't mean that I think that those further down the list had no contribution.
