How does that stupid **** get to voice his opinion on anything?

displacedinMN 03-13-2013 03:31 PM

maybe next next year

The Franchise 03-13-2013 03:31 PM

I don't see Welker eclipsing 100+ catches a season in Denver.

notorious 03-13-2013 03:32 PM

You don't need elite CB's while playing Denver.

Cover 2 and pray Manning shits the bed.

Let me see if I got this right. Mike Wallace is worth more than Wes Welker and Anquan Bolden combined.

BossChief 03-13-2013 03:33 PM

5000 yards and 50 touchdowns.

Probably more.

A "better Stokely" is a difference maker?

Again, with Manning, the Broncos are already a better team than KC and will kick our ass. What they do in the playoffs beyond that is immaterial to me since I, y'know, don't give a wet fart about the Broncos.

Without Manning, the Chiefs can (and will) beat the Broncos, Welker or no Welker.

From a Chiefs standpoint, Welker just doesn't matter.

Hope he doesn't... means someone got hurt.

Eh, Welker doesn't scare me.

Either Manning is healthy all season - in which case the Broncos were going to wax us anyway, or he isn't, in which case Welker's just another decent player that Tom Brady made wealthy and we'll be able to overtake Denver.

Welker isn't a difference maker for the Broncos at all, IMO.

Welker is more dangerous, more of a difference maker than any receiver in this league, and the Pats just gave that up on the heels of a Tom Brady restructure so they could keep him.

Now Peyton has the most dangerous slot receiver to ever play the game, in a pass first offense with the most cerebral QB to ever play the game.

If you aren't threatened by that, you're smoking something.

Do you remember what Manning and Stokley did early on? Now Imagine a player 10 times better taking Stokley's role.

I don't think he did. Supposedly they offered him 2 years 10 million, and he walked.

If they can't resign Arrington (who is best utilized in the slot), they are screwed in the post season. As an example, look to the Ravens game in the playoffs when they had to play Arrington outside instead of in the slot on 3W sets.

Well, if you put it that way, its less debatable.

It all depends on what happens with the Patriots slot situation, do they sign Amendola or Edelman? If they sign edelman, they are far less ****ed.

Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider

Donnie Avery's three-year Chiefs deal is worth $8.55 million and includes a $1.5 million signing bonus, per a league source.

Hahaha.

Dude, we have Brandon Flowers and they have Thomas, Decker and now Welker.

Unless we find a way to get 2 more starting quality corners, we aren't gonna beat Denver this year or next.

That's a little better, but Avery still sucks.

The Franchise 03-13-2013 03:37 PM

So in 2 WR sets......Decker goes to the bench?

mcaj22 03-13-2013 03:38 PM
