I never thought he'd fire anyone after one year. But after the Eagles' last playoff loss Reid coached, he directly said in his season-ending presser that he wasn't firing his defensive coordinator. Then he fired him a few days later.
So it's not like his word is etched in stone. |
I'll bet Emmit Thomas "retires" but that's about it.

Dude was, maybe still is, COY candidate.

Fire Sutton
|
Nick Athan suggesting the Chiefs demote or hire an assistant for Sutton.. Also pointed out lack of cap room and the need to find 5 new starters on defense.

Andy Reid won't make any coaching changes until someone forces him. fears about Sutton look to be correct ... He doesn't really know defense, he is just mimicking the defensive scheme he saw someone else coach. Can't adjust, doesn't know what to do when that scheme doesnt' work. |

Any of you have a windowless van you can "lure" Sutton away in?

If the power structure is:
Hunt Dorsey-Reid Reid just needs to be convienced. Hunt has been down this path of D coordinator changes a few times. Robinson-Gunther Pendergast-Romeo |

Even though in the real world if you started a new job, and you performed well for the first 5 and a half months, but then continually did worse, only to majorly **** up something at the end of the year that cost your company big time, we all know how that turns out. Mainly with you carrying a cardboard box of your belongings and being escorted out by security. That's a simple fact for anyone else who works for someone in 99% of the cases. |
