Sunday's line was impressive. I see no reason why they can't keep it together, outside of injury, of course.
But what this season (and last season to a much higher degree) has shown is that the lack of depth at the right tackle position has all but killed the Chiefs chances at the playoffs.
The Chiefs are set at LT, LG and Center next year. LDT will only improve and Fulton is an adequate backup. The right tackle position is a dumpster fire in terms of depth, especially considering Allen's propensity for injury the past two seasons.
Right tackle can be adequately addressed from rounds 3-5 in next year's draft, IMO, especially if Allen can stay healthy the rest of 2015. |
