Hill has the rare combination of speed and quickness, evidently. Not a one trick pony.

And while I am in no way suggesting that we have the next Antonio Brown on our hands, it's worth noting that they are nearly the same exact size, drafted in the same general area, and apparently freaky quick and able to make some really special plays. If he can be half of AB, we've hit it out of the park.

As long as Hill allows us to dump Thomas.....I'll be happy.

Trade him to the 49ers. Get a 5th or even a 6th, which would make up for the lost of next year's 6th.

Thanks, Goodell.

Hill is going to be ridiculous with Toub.

saphojunkie 07-27-2016 02:42 PM

I'm starting to understand why Reid and Dorsey thought Tyreke Hill was worth the baggage.

Personally, I'd rather the see tag rescinded, which will result in a 2017 3rd round comp pick, or trade him for a 2nd or higher. If they let him go in 2017, the 3rd round comp pick won't be available until 2018.

Also, it's one thing to pay a guy that led the league in sacks and plays a premium position as the highest at his position in the league, and it's quite another to pay a safety $12 million per with $36 million guaranteed.

That's a waste of resources.

If they rescind the tag, the Chiefs could pretty much control the 2017 draft with at least two 3rd round comp picks (Berry & Smith), a couple of 4th's (Allen and Stephenson) and probably a 5th for Tyvon Branch. Considering the picks will be tradeable next year, the Chiefs could seriously upgrade their roster.

1, 2, 3, 3 (Berry), 3 (S. Smith), 4, 4(Allen), 5, 6 (Stephenson), 6 (Branch), 7

This would be our haul. Insane

There is a limit to the number of comp picks a team can get. It is either 3 or 4, don't remember which.

The Franchise 07-27-2016 02:54 PM

It's 4.

Too bad Hill is human garbage.

As long as he keeps it clean from here on out I have no problem cheering for a player rather than a person if you see what I mean.

I am starting to understand exactly what kind of speed he has.

Percy Harvin was a huge track star, first athlete in Virginia to win five track medals the same day. His personal best was 10.43 in the 100, 21.19 in the 200. That’s fast as hell for high school.

Tyreek Hill's personal bests were 9.98 in the 100, 20.14 in the 200. That's Maurice Greene-fast. His 200 time was 1/100 of a second off the high school record. Apparently he clocked a 4.25 40 once. The fastest 40 ever in the NFL was Chris Johnson at 4.24.

If the dude matures and admits he was wrong and makes a consistent effort to be a better man going forward, I don't see the reason for hate. If he was acting like Greg Hardy had, that's one thing, but to our knowledge he isn't at all.

Give the kid a chance. He can't right the wrong but he can help set the new standard for the DV nonsense going forward.

Titty Meat 07-27-2016 04:06 PM

**** Hill

Kiimo 07-27-2016 04:11 PM

Where's the safe space where I can talk about Hill's speed and not have to talk about domestic violence thanks I'll hang up and listen.

Or they could sign him to a new contract after the 2016 season ends and before 2017 free agency begins.

No way that would happen, unless they overpaid by like 30 percent. He's going to want to test the market.

I'd imagine this is the last year we see Berry in a chiefs uniform.
