It doesn't matter if the play failed or not. The routes were called, regardless of success/failure.

Do you need him to GIF up successful plays so you can see vertical routes there too?

I honestly can't believe i have to explain this to a grown ass man. (Meh, yes i do...)

Good God.

If the play is a designed pass to Hunt that is caught and ran for six yards in the right flat while Robinson has his man beat along the same sideline, is the play a failure?

It's gonna be an ugly one; my hat's off to him for taking on that slog.

The only question is whether or not he'll be worse than the Dallas game. It's gonna be closer than we think - he was ****ing abhorrent in the Dallas game.

You're absolutely 100% smarter than this. Not every play is just designed to get one man open.

The biggest play in question is designed for the ball to go to any one of five eligible receivers, provided the QB drops back, reads the defense and finds the best option.

Alex didn't come close to doing that on that play.

I already went through it. It's worse, because not only is he missing WIDE OPEN guys, several throws to open receivers just were way the **** off.

He didn't read the defense, was inaccurate when he did, shat his pants in the pocket and made dumb**** throws that resulted in turnovers.

Top 5 worst games he's ever played here.

You got a trove of gifs to suggest that Smith is passing up surefire TDs or at least big chunks of yards in favor of short to intermediate plays to Hunt or Kelce?

Not just Sunday, btw.

ugh, why doesn't he step UP in the pocket instead of doing his happy feet shuffle and moving back and outside?

I was at the butt****ing playoff game. And the butt****ingly freezing Titans game. And the dreary ass Tampa game. And the Chicago game two years ago.

I'm not out here white knighting Smith I'm here to point out that there's a lot of infuriating shit that is a design feature and not a bug.

Is this the part where you pretend you know who the primary read is?

It's clear as **** you don't know what you're talking about.

No one is disputing that Reid calls screens and short passes. Every damn HC does.

The issue here is that you're too dumb to realize that simply because Smith chooses a checkdown does not mean that the play was designed with the check down as the primary read.

When it's 3rd and 10, Reid isn't calling drop back passing plays to Kareem Hunt in the flat. That's Alex bitching out. The GIF's prove it.

You should tweet him the gif where Schwartz completely whiffs on a block and then quits. Or maybe how Schwartz got his ass handed to him by Demarcus Lawrence.
