A mid 2nd round pick like the Chiefs will likely have is fair value for Pateick Peterson.

I will say that Howard’s contract is very good for a top end corner. He’s getting paid basically the same as Peterson next year. Those $13/14 million cap hits will look like a steal in a year.

Having control of him for the next 5.5 years is very enticing too.

Not if Veach is a quality gm. Cowboys paying Lawrence, Smith, Zeke and have Dak and Amarie to go...if they manage to do it, then we shouldn't have any problems either.

Byron Jones could be a sleeper name to watch out for as there's no-way the Boys can pay him along with the others.

Chiefs are already paying Clark and Mathieu and Hill and are about to break off Mahomes.


Then you've got Watkins and the whole OL.

Contracts can be restructed and folks can be cut/traded at the end of the season. Namely Ldt, Sorenson, Hitchens, Ragland, Fisher etc. A good GM makes it work, period.

The issue is more that you like to spread the contracts around position or unit wise

They've already got Clark at his big number up there and they need CB"s.
