Yep a lot like Justin Houston always out of shape coming to camp after getting payed. Except Speaks does give all and doesnt quit on plays. I could never say the same about Houston. People loved Houston but hate Speaks CP:rolleyes:

And you’re probably right about Speaks, if we’ve ever had a draft pick in Reid’s tenure that I would be willing to give up on after one year, it would be Speaks. I’ve said it many times, but the pick should’ve been Jessie Bates.

Oh believe me, I've posted much, MUCH dumber stuff than this. I suppose Kaep is just too toxic, and he did receive a collusion settlement (along with Ed Reed) from the NFL back in February. So he's pretty much black balled by the league. I'm just saying a guy who's 31 years old, mobile, has 2 1/2 times more TDs than picks, and has experience playing in a super bowl might be a better backup than Matt Moore, who's never won shit. But that's just me. I've underestimated his level of toxicity as people hate him worse for kneeling than a guy who destroyed dogs (Michael Vick.) That's fine. Lets just hope it doesn't come down to us having to play a second string QB this year.

He would be a better fit for Indy IMO but nobody is going to sign that piece of shit.

Aside from all of the political stuff, he would NEVER play for the type of pay we'd offer.

Me and DJ are always cool. To be honest, he’s one of my favorite posters and one of the few who I have conversations in PM’s with. Every now and then we’ll argue, but we’re always good after.

Chad Henne, Matt Moore....who cares? If we have to turn to either of them, our season has gone tits-up already. I would have preferred Henne as he continues to impart some knowledge to Mahomes, but that's less valuable now than it was a year ago.

As for Speaks, I have zero confidence that he'll get himself into playing shape after this injury. He wasn't ready for training camp and he won't be ready after convalescing for 3 months.

KPass is better than Speaks now anyway. He appears to be on the way to becoming solid depth with big upside.
