Lulz

I told one of my friends I figured that might be in the running for the worst KU has ever shot in a win? Anybody have any idea?

Man, UK can play defense. Cal is an annoying shit but he can coach up athletic long kids to play defense. If there is anything UK usually lacks its shooters and scoring.

I had no idea Jalen Wilson would be this good this soon. He looked lost in limited minutes and in exhibition games last year. Hes a ball player now. And if his 3 point shot starts falling, look out.

Should have won that game by more. UK cannot put the ball into the ocean and runs no semblance of offense. DMack was once again horrible. Garret and Braun were both sick and didn't look like their normal selves. We'll play better than this almost every game moving forward.

Love that Harris kid. LOVE. He cant score I dont think and I dont care. Plays great defense, amazing hands. Best guard for getting steals since Chalmers. He's like a cornerback out there. We are just better when he's in the game.

Thompson disappeared but didn't seem to get much playing time. Now Im not perplexed as to why Wilson was chosen to be a starter.

It's been scripted for so many ****ing years. Douchey cliches and yelling instead of actual analysis and content.

Jalen Wilson has been a revelation so far this season. I thought he'd be buried in the depth chart, but he been arguably our 2nd best scoring option.

He was really really ****ing good tonight. Did not expect that.

I like Garrett, but I do not like Garrett attempting to run the clock down and get his own shot.

Sherron, Tyshawn, Mason, Graham, and Dotson were so damn good in those situations. It’s clearly not Garrett’s strength.

Yeah, who the **** decided that he’s as good as those guys. Let’s let Garrett try to beat the whole Kentucky team by himself without help from anyone? LMAO

While he’s sick. Dude looked like he needed medical intervention there for a bit

Yeah, I didn't understand that. Garret was laboring, especially late in that game.

ESPN said it’s our lowest % in a win over the past decade, besting Purdue 2012 second round (34%).

If Kyle Rittenhouse shot like us, he’d have lost.

I noticed some schedule updates and channel listings have been updated on the KU athletics site

Apparently Harris leads our team in assists, steals, assist:turnover ratio on 44 actual minutes.

-unverified - stolen from Reddit

I know small sample size and all but ummmm....

He is leading the team in assists despite playing limited minutes. I’ll believe it.

I think Garrett is more effective at the 2, but in a Graham/Chalmers capacity. They play the “2”, but they’re really like having a second point guard.

Some of our best teams have featured that:

2007-2008: Robinson-Chalmers
2009-2010: Collins-Taylor
2012: Taylor-Johnson
2016-2017: Mason-Graham
2020: Dotson-Garrett

Goddamn it. That loss to Oregon still stings so bad to this day. ****.

Kansas was minus-12 with McCormack or fellow big man Mitch Lightfoot on the floor against Kentucky, and plus-15 going small. Through three games, KU’s small lineups are plus-33, and McCormack is minus-11. To Self’s credit, he’s called an audible.

“I think we’re better offensively obviously when we played the five guards,” Self said. “We’re probably better defensively too, to be honest with you, because our switches are much better and their ball-screen offense was totally ineffective because we were switching everything.”

No more McCormack.
