2 things: 1) He has shown intermittent flashes of ability as a WR and seemingly has injuries knock him back just as he was ready to establish himself.

2) Dave Toub gets a few toys on the roster every year.

Item 1 doesn't bother me much but I'm rapidly losing patience with item 2. If Toub is as good a ST coordinator as is claimed, he shouldn't need 10% of the roster allocated specifically to ST players to thrive.

Honestly a bit surprised at this signing.

Not like he's going to play that much. Especially at first.

If he elected to leave, yes - in theory.

But if he wanted to leave, he wouldn't have signed here initially. He chose KC for a reason.

Powers that be must feel the wheels are off. It kind of smells of desperation.

We can't stop anyone on D so let's get more offense.

It seems more like a move to motivate those who are underperforming at the WR position. Bringing in more competition should send a message to DRob, Pringle, etc.

The only thing this smells of is the acknowledgement that neither Hardman, Pringle or Robinson can win consistently enough to be a legit #2.

Who ever plays opposite of Tyreek and Kelce should be FEASTING and we have yet to see that with any of our WR's, really. Watkins included.

The good news is we are in for another 2018 wild ride.

Yea they're admitting they suck at WR, no way around that.

Marijuana is his drug of choice but he has had a problem and used plenty of other drugs (including PEDs - his last suspension).

So stop acting like because weed is legal Gordon isn't a risk for a relapse because he definitely is. Hopefully this time he stays clean though. It's certainly possible.
