My kids were at the end of the bus route - they were actually on the bus longer than state law allows.

They got on the bus at 6:15am and got off the bus at 4:15pm every day.

Shit. I remember when my mom moved out of town and I had to ride a bus route that was nearly the same right to the minute.

I ****ing moved out to my dads. **** that.

We had other issues with the school district. We ended up homeschooling because they just refused to work with us.

Of course, we weren't the only ones. Which then led to the school district throwing up hurdles every chance they got because they treated the home schooling community like an enemy.

You have no idea how much I loathe our local CSD.

I think this will be the last time we have standard time. Once we go back to daylight savings time the clocks will stay the same all year round…but I might be wrong.

This makes it a 17 hour shift I'm working.
