Flanny used to cover the Chiefs. He knows his stuff.
|
Gross.
He is fine as a #3 but you don't pay that for a 3. This is Jacksonville stupid. |

Can we smear his hands with glue or give him velcro palm implants?

If the drops part is true and he can give us the deep threat and a reliable target with top end speed, then this is a great move. That’s a lot of ifs, though.
No signing replaces a Tyreek Hill. He’s a generational unicorn. But if this signing replaces those parts of what Tyreek brought to the offense, I’m good with it. We come out close to 20m per year in surplus cap space over signing Tyreek as well as a ton of draft picks that can help the roster be more talented across the board. If those resources are managed correctly, this team won’t skip a beat and will end up winning the division again as well as hunting for another trophy/ring. If they aren’t used effectively, well…we will cross that bridge when we get to it. This is a GMs version of “betting on yourself” and I think Veach deserves the benefit of the doubt there. |

Hardman - 4.4MM JuJu - 2.9 MM MVS - 9MM Add a rookie and you're probably looking at around $20MM for the entire WR group. |

Dad was the lead in moving the Challenger shuttle from analog to digital. Marquez took advanced classes while growing up. So he has to have some smarts. Hopefully he picks up the offense quickly. |

I guess I'm just looking at the money from the wrong perspective, it's not that much considering the market and he obviously had other teams chasing him. Doesn't help I have Packer fans all around my office telling me how dumb we are. LMAO |
it's a solid signing, dude can at least play as your 3rd or 4th option. Still draft a WR if one is worth picking, which there should be. A bit more expensive than you'd like for that but maybe he can take it to the next level.

When you consider the franchise tag is 17M for a WR, and the top guys are getting 21M a year on average, dropping 9M doesn't seem that bad.
Going to be interesting to see if he does a lot better with Mahomes. |
