Jalen Pitre was my guy in this draft. Perfect Matheiu replacement.

He just had a game with 8 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovered in week 3.

He’s an amazing player. Would have been perfect here with Spags (sigh)

Pitre has looked amazing so far. So has Brisker, for that matter.

I wouldn't have ever been able to talk myself into spending a 1st rounder on Pitre or a top 50 pick on Brisker.

Hell, I don't like spending 62 on Cook.

I found myself taking Nick Cross a LOT. But/for the McDuffie trade, I might have used 94 on Cross or Kerby Joseph. Though in all honesty, I'd have probably just taken Myjai Sanders there or maybe Perrion Winfrey.

Ojabo is practicing. Interested to see if he can make an impact this year. Was really hoping he’d make it to one of our seconds

Yep those were my picks at safety, Doubs or Calvin Austin would've been good WR double-dips and Winfrey would have been niiiiiiice.

Pitre, Doubs, and Winfrey were 3 of my favorites in the draft.

Loved Pitre. I really wouldn't hate us picking 2xOT, 2xWR and 2xDL in this draft. This last draft there were some incredible pick ups later on like Doubs, so sod balance we have 3 obvious areas of need, let's just attack them. Gotta hope at least a couple of guys hit and you improve a couple of areas.

Winfrey's issue is obviously between the ears. I was looking at him for the Jets but I think the mental issues knocked him off our board. Undeniable talent though.

Would Winfrey really fit the Chiefs scheme? I thought you guys ran a base 3 4? For some reason I thought Winfrey more fit a 4 3/4 2 scheme. I could be wrong though.

We haven't ran a 3-4 base since Spags came on board. We primarily run a 4-2.

He has 4x as many interceptions as our entire team

Tariq Woolen is good but so is Jaylen Watson and we got him in the 7th rd

Think this was probably before the Bills game to be fair.
