So... what changes from the Saturday-before-Christmas?
That's the question for me on this one. I'm seeing a few interesting themes ... one of them being about the Texans "dominating" the Chargers last weekend. Um, tell me you just looked at the box score without telling me you just looked at the box score... The other one is talk about "how close" the last matchup was. Which, I don't know. Other than working things to Tank Dell, I don't think Houston had many answers on offense. Stroud played pretty well in that game, too. For KC, I think this is the game we see Hopkins and Brown fully unleashed. No more snap count watching, no more working him in. Just let 'er rip. On defense, does Jaylen Watson get back on the field? I'm feeling something like 31-17, with the Chiefs making a statement, and looking locked in and dangerous. |
You serious, Clark?
Mahomes is 100%, Hollywood is fully ingrained in the offense, 80% snaps for DeAndre Hopkins, whoever is playing left tackle is far more comfortable than they were going into that game....if Watson plays we stomp a mudhole in these frauds. |
Listening to some talking heads it’s hilarious to me how much praise the Texans are getting for having a “good game.” It’s like no one actually watched the game. They were trailing 6-0 with like two minutes to go in the first half and got a very fortunate play to not get shut out. They had every right to be trailing at least 14-0 at that point and Stroud was awful out there. That game was much more about the Chargers bad than Texans good.

But not enough to make a difference in this game, especially if J-Wat plays. We did a great job on Anderson and Hunter last month, if we can repeat that we'll win handily. 34-17 Chiefs. |

As someone that was at the Texans game, I noticed that the speed from Worthy and Hollywood immediately made Houston’s assholes pucker. They dropped safeties back and were nervous.
I think you’re going to see us continue to kill them in the middle of the field quickly with Kelce/Hopkins. There’s just too much firepower for them to cover. |
Clay Martin’s crew will be officiating
