kyle & carl have to worry about JimiJo -- he'll make his move at the right time!
What lap do you make your final push if you are in 2nd or 3rd?
Posted via Mobile Device |
Kyle better hurry up. #48 headed to the front!
Carl over drove and used up his car. He should have backed off and waited a few laps...the old rub and run would have worked~
Well if 99 and 48 don't help eachother it looks like 18 has this.

Good run for Menard, too. Watching him and Martin run together is hard on my eyes what with the bright yellow and green cars.

Juan Pablo Montoya wins pole at Fontana http://d.yimg.com/a/p/sp/getty/50/fu...to_club_40.jpg Montoya wins the Coors Light Pole Award with a lap of 38.992 seconds, 184.653 mph. Auto Club 400 Preview The last time Auto Club Speedway hosted a Sprint Cup Series race it was by far the best in the track’s NASCAR history. Last October’s race featured side-by-side racing, four and five-wide packs down the backstretch and great battles not just at the front of but through the entire field. Now the question becomes what can ACS do for an encore? The Southern California track has been under seemingly constant pressure since it was first added to the NASCAR schedule to produce both better racing and attendance. The two-mile track has more often than not generated strung out parades and strung out fields that don’t do much in the way of the excitement department. That changed last fall for a couple of reasons. The decision to trim the race distance from 500 to 400 miles raised the intensity level dramatically. No longer able to simply make laps and save their machines until the end of the grind, drivers were forced to deal with a much faster-paced race and in turn most were up on the wheel all afternoon. "A 400-mile race is going to be every bit as exciting, if not more, than a 500-mile race," said Tony Stewart, who went to victory lane in last October’s race. “I thought the racing last year was really good," he said. "The restarts early in the race were out of control. We were five-wide sometimes, and I know because I was one of them that put a bunch of guys five wide." Source: CBS Sports |

Truly a miracle McDowell got out and walked away with no injuries. DW said, "I've never seen anything like that in my life." |
Ugh, they're racing at Fontucky this weekend? Worst. Track. Ever.
http://www.themahoganyblog.com/wp-co...car-boring.jpg |
California is a boring track to watch a race on but damn it is one of the best in the nascar games.
Fontana is a track that is too easy to drive plenty of room if you have a fast car you don't have to be a great job to get in and out of the turns perfect. Darlington on the other hand is maddening

I loved the old atlanta, just a normal big oval with no D shape or dogleg.
I don't even remember the old ATL track.
old atlanta was a big ass oval that I think is like homestead now. Homestead has had like 3 different layouts. One like Indy, then they changed it to one big oval, now it is a banked oval I think.
