Getting Kittle in the late fourth is a HUGE STEAL in any draft.

He's only given up 1 QB pressure in pass pro in the last 2 seasons COMBINED, is the nations 2nd best run blocking TE and ran a 4.52 40 at the combine at his size is very special. Really good hands. Very versatile.

KC having Logan and Howard only signed for next year and needing to earmark $ for Peters, Jones, Ford and others makes picks like this very important.

Also, one of my 3 standouts from TC was Ross Travis (my 3 standouts were Ross, Chris Jones and Tyreek Hill) so part of me is hoping he earns a bigger role with Harris having legal trouble.

They just signed Gavin Escobar so Travis may have trouble making the roster. He's essentially the same guy, but more raw.

Funny you mention that. My top two for the Cowboys pick was Kittle then Vanderdoes. We were on the same page!

Green Bay Selects: Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU

Can someone please PM the next person for me?

I got it. Don't PM me. I'll pick in a second

RealSNR 03-31-2017 04:16 PM

The late 4th round might be a tad high, but I do loves me some WRs who excel in the 3-cone. This guy had the top number this year of 6.57. Could be a really effective weapon in short crosses as a 3rd/4th option especially since the Steelers lost Wheaton and some other guys in their immediate depth.

Pittsburgh selects Taywan Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky

Rain Man 03-31-2017 05:05 PM

Cleveland is dismayed to see Taylor off the board. We had him projected to be our Super Bowl MVP in 2019 or 2020.

Both guys are of great value.

Iowa homer here, but Kittle is a steal for the Cowboys. Some injury concen, but he's a complete TE, great hands, good blocker. Under utilized at Iowa IMO.

Hoover 03-31-2017 06:46 PM

Was targeting Kittle here, Fat Scott loves Iowa boys.

Still, I think there is value here at the TE position.

With the 136th pick in the NFL draft, the Falcons select, Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson

staylor26 03-31-2017 06:49 PM

I hope those TE's last this long in the real draft. Definitely possible with all the depth at the position and the draft in general.

DOUBTFUL

Great defensive players in this draft, but we are probably all a little heavy on them.

CleveSteve 03-31-2017 07:12 PM

Leggett is terrific. Worth going 40 picks earlier IMO.

I was praying he was gonna last till KCs next pick.

Awesome value.

O.city 03-31-2017 07:19 PM

Just eyeing the first round here, it looks like the really elite players should run out by about pick 14, for the most part l.

I'm all about the chiefs getting a qbotf, but if the qbs go early and push some good players down, that'd be tits

BossChief 03-31-2017 07:29 PM

I'm actually way more excited to see what Dorsey comes up with in this draft after seeing this mock play out like it has.

I knew this draft was deep, but god damn.

This is just ridiculous.

Kittle would be a second rounder -maybe even a late first- in most drafts.

The guy lasted till the end of the fourth...

Better tell him to take the scenic route

Cleveland's celebrity draft picker is becoming agitated. You don't want Cleveland's celebrity draft picker to become agitated.

We're tantalizingly close to the appearance of Cleveland's celebrity draft picker. We can hear the sound of someone kicking the inside of the Green Room door.

PM about to be sent.

Cleveland's celebrity draft picker is now in possession of both Indianapolis' and Cleveland's pick once San Francisco makes their selection.

I'm not even sure he can play in a 4-3 but in the late 4th you take him and find out.

Perfect Ted in a 3-4, though. And he's just smart enough that you might get lucky and get a 3-down backer out of him. It's not terribly likely, but possible.

BossChief 04-02-2017 08:47 PM

It's a good pick. He's gonna be a three down backer that solidifies the middle of a defense.

CleveSteve 04-02-2017 08:47 PM

Aw man. Looks like we may have lost rain man. Just missed. Unless beckwith was indy's pick too.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:10 PM

The door to the Green Room opens.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:23 PM

Into the room struts the pride of Canton, northern Ohio's second-most famous antichrist figure (after Art Modell)...

Marilyn Manson!

http://img.wennermedia.com/social/ma...81339ebefb.jpg

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:24 PM

The crowd leaves Marilyn plenty of room to stalk to the stage. He ascends with arms raised.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:26 PM

With the 4-144 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Marilyn has been instructed to inform that crowd that the Indianapolis Colts select Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh.

He pronounces the 's' sounds as if he were a giant snake.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:31 PM

In complete silence, Marilyn stares at the crowd for several uncomfortable moments.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:38 PM

With the 5-145 pick in the 2017 NFL player selection process, the Cleveland Browns reach into the dark abyss of hell and select for their sacrifice Jeremy Sprinkle, TE, Arkansas.

With that, Manson stares at the crowd for several more minutes of dead silence before he leaves the stage and stalks out the door.

Rain Man 04-02-2017 09:43 PM

Before he leaves, he screams out the name of DJ's Left Nut in a manner that indicates that DJ has been notified that he is on the clock.

DJ's left nut 04-02-2017 09:46 PM

It's not the QBOTF that their fans were hoping for from this draft, but a good backup can be valuable and there's an outside shot that you get a Teddy Bridgewater type.

The 49ers select, Brad Kaaya, QB - Miami.

With the 148th pick in the NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select, J.J. Dielman, G, Utah

Dielman is the second interior linemen drafted by the Jaguars in this draft. J.J. has some flexibility but probably isn't going to have what it takes to play OT in the nfl. Jacksonville shal really bolstered it interior line in the draft with Lamp and Dielman. If Brandon Albert can stay upright for a season that might have something cooking. Would have prefered an OT, but this isn't the draft to fill that need. I'll take D lineman, and secondary players to go with some striong guards.

Nothing flashy here, but we continue to improve in the trenches.

4. Do a search of the thread before you pick to make sure that the player hasn't been selected. If you pick a player that has already been drafted, you face the wrath of the entire thread and you'll have to correct it. So don't make a pick and then leave for 14 hours. Stick around and make sure that you didn't **** u ROFL
