Hunt has a stiff arm move like a freaking haymaker. KNOCKOUT!

Frosty 10-23-2018 03:33 PM

Last season, Hunt seemed like a quiet, humble kid. This season, he is trash-talking a lot more and is running with even more attitude. I like it (except for the fouls).

Pay close attention to them.

Spencer Ware could use some pointers, I think he fell down 3 times without contact Sunday night. Pretty sure he could have scored on that long pass he caught but the paint on the grass tripped him up.

If it only was that easy. Ware doesn't have the legs Kareem Hunt does. I'm sure he'd love to be able to break tackles like that but without Hunt's build it's not happening.

Hunts a freak even by NFL standards with those legs.

I mean yeah...but the 2 times Ware fell down on Sunday were just out of clumsiness and tripping on yard lines ROFL

Lol.... Okay but Ware did fine 8 car, 59 yds, 7.4 avg.. Not sure you can ask much more from a backup RB.

The whole offense is playing great right now... Lets get it Chiefs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, he was great. Looked like old Spencer Ware again. But still funny he missed out on 2 touchdowns falling for no reason. I'll give him a pass on the first one cause the pass was kind of low though.

Reid talked about this in his press conference. Said it was the first time Ware had been that active, and his legs were tired. Sounds like even though Ware has had some third down work, they’ve been very careful with him. Reid even said that they worried Ware’s injury was career ending.

Sometimes, I listen to the wind in the trees and think to myself, "Wherefore doth the wind blow?"

Other times, I listen to the opposing team's radio calls on Game Pass.

I did that this week and the Susanna Hoffs' color guy (who is really good, BTW) said he walked the field before the game. He mentioned that, after the two big recent concerts, the grounds crew had to re-sod the field in a bunch of places. He seemed to think that Ware was getting tripped up on the seams.

I'm not sure that's 100% factual, but on the other hand, Ware's knees weren't real high on those moves. Just saying ...

I hate that my high school has a better playing field than the Chiefs. Natural grass is fine for stadiums in warm weather cities, but we aren't a warm weather city.

Not only does painted dirt look like crap on TV, but right now our team is built around speed, and our playing surface slows down players not named Tyreek Hill, especially when new sod has been laid down.

I know that the astroturf was terrible and needed to go, but I wish we would go to a field turf surface.

**** no. Football is played outside, on grass and dirt. Not indoors or on ****ing carpet. **** no. I don't care what the field looks like. It's how it's supposed to be.

I do wish the Kareem got the blocking of that dildo from Denver. Good God, he was typically untouched for the first 9 or so yards. Some of that has to do with our terrible linebackers and safeties, but some of that is blocking/scheme as well.

I hadn't noticed until watching this slowly load that Erving basically catches Hunt and helps him keep his feet when #31 hits Hunt as he's coming down off the hurdle. Pretty cool.

Maybe a little help but a lot of that was Hunt.

He hurdled a guy, stuck the landing, AND continued his forward momentum right into the end zone. One of the best runs I've ever seen.

Frosty 10-29-2018 12:00 PM

I agree it was mostly Hunt. It's just when you watch the gif load frame by frame, you see 31 hit Hunt while he (Hunt) still has a foot in the air. Erving then puts another hand on Hunt's side (he has one on him already in the above picture) and helps push him into the end zone. With Hunt's balance, he might have kept his feet anyway but it was still nice hustle by Erving.

Watching the highlights now - Browns seem to prefer getting blocked to trying to tackle Hunt.

I'm still dumbfounded albeit happy but can't figure out the Browns game plan against us in the playoffs not utilizing Kareem Hunt and stuck with N Chubb. I really don't know what word to describe it. Bewildered astonished of their dumbassery not having Kareem Hunt embarrass our defense that day.

Oh well glad he didn't get the opportunities.

Turns 27 in August if all is forgiven by Clark Hunt and gives Brenda Vixen the go I'd give him 3 year deal with incentives.

I still like Clyde Edwards-Helaire but I think they can complement each other.
Imagine having both in the backfield and put Tyreek in the back field with them would really freak teams out.

Bring him in for some talks with Clark, Reid and Veach first. See where his head is at now and if he sincerely has remorse for his actions, how he lied to the team to try to weasel out of what he did. To this day I think his problems were all signs of immaturity. One would think that Kareem at 27 has matured some by now. Although some people just never get it.

Dante84 03-11-2022 04:46 PM

For those who know better of the situation in Cleveland:

- They have Chubb
- They are tendering their young RB
- Hunt is under contract through the end of 2022 @ $6M (I think)

If they choose to move on to free up cap, wouldn't they prefer to trade Hunt rather than just release him? I'd imagine a team needing a RB wouldn't mind paying $6m for Hunt and flipping a 6th rounder for the opportunity to, right?

If a team is desperate enough at the RB position they want to forfeit draft capital for one youd think Saquon or CMC would be more attractive options (although more expensive). Not to mention just using that draft capital to move up and draft one of the top RBs in this class.

BryanBusby 03-11-2022 05:10 PM

If they decide to bring him back, hey whatever. He's paid his price for doing stupid shit.

If they decide to pass, hey cool. Don't care either way.

It's just too bad he couldn't stop being a stupid ****. He woulda been rich and had a ring.

This place, and it's inexplicable infatuation with Kareem Hunt is hilarious.

Yes. Let's bring in a 27 year old brokedick running back who has missed 17 games since he left here due to injuries, because of some nostalgia factor that we refuse to let go of from his time at the very beginning of his career.

The guy isn't reliable. Mentally, OR physically. If you want a rb, draft one of these kids in April.

Kareem had his shot. He blew it. Facebook posts from daddy about the good old days aren't going to change anything.

It makes very little sense to bring the guy back. The distraction factor alone is a pain in the ass.

Andy Reid won't run the ball anyway.

Dude missed 8 games in 2019 for his suspension. Then played all of 2020. Then 9 for injuries in 2021.

Saying he missed 17 games due to injuries is disingenuous.
