I dont think it's his place to tell the public his personal opinions about the case...only that no charges were filed. It was a very bizarre thing to do...and gave the media ammunition when it should have just ended. |
Quote:
I honestly hope they fail to put a case together if for no other reason than this DA is a complete ****bag who needs to be made to look inept. Again. |
Quote:
How the hell is that part of their communication style? Do you know any guys that talk to their girlfriends or fiancées like that? DA knows abuse happened the only reason charges haven't been filed is because they can't prove who did it. Now they have leverage over Crystal with the tape release. So chances are either Tyreek or Crystal will see jail time. Either way Tyreek will probably get suspended for a while and never play for the Chiefs again. You can post all you want about how innocent Tyreek is but to me this situation is pretty much over. He's gone. He might come back and play for another team one day but chances of him playing for us again are slim to none. |

Due process isn’t really that much to ask for. It’s a basic right. He won’t play another down for the Chiefs until this is cleared up so why so quick to cut him? |
He’s either guilty or he’s not.

Which is what he said. |

You know that DA is working double time to find anything...just so he can justify what he did in the presser. He's in "save face" mode.. |

KCTV5 has shown they will just sit on so called evidence to drive a story. That’s why I have just sided on due process.

Here is the timeline... When Godmama tried twice to file police reports and nothing became of it...she waited until they announced the Chiefs were starting contract negotiations with Hill...and went to the Star. Hill and Crystal have split and is pregnant with his twins. Hill is about to become very rich. Fat Brooke/Star saw a great opportunity to pass off opinion as journalism...even though TMZ didn't bite on the same attempt. It was a hit-piece...and she had been waiting for it since Hill was drafted. Baby Godmama had pictures of Hill Jr in a cast and knew someone would play a game of gossip journalism. She publicly admitted she didn't like Hill..so the motive is pretty clear considering she waited until it would do the most damage. Hill's sister says "they are trying to ruin my brother's career". DA sees a golden opportunity to further his political career and joins the fray...then is bitter that nothing could be found to accomplish this while creating a local media spectacle. He resorts to unethical tactics in attempt to save face. Media runs with it. Hills child it removed from the house. Social media does it job..and the witch hunt is in full throttle...Tabliod sports show smell blood...and start doing hit pieces to get clicks. KCTV5 joins the party...offering nothing new to the evidence but shows the Hills in an unfavorable light...which is great for ratings. and here we are...Hill is suspended/ $100 million contract ripped up and hasn't been found guilty of any crime. Fat Brooke is on to writing more Chiefs hit-pieces with the signing of Clark.. Isnt America grand! |
It's funny how a) Brooke Pryor was completely right and b) nothing she said changed anything about how all this played out, yet there are still posters here who are ready to crucify her here and in the Hardman thread - where it seems to me she's trying to deflect the story (which she didn't break) more than anything else.

Seems like Mike Florio bumbled this Marvin Harrison incident years ago. What a ****:
Spoiler!

Just for the record, I "may have" passed a turd with some corn in it earlier, but I have no evidence as the turd in question has been flushed in to oblivion.

What exactly was she right about? The DA concluded that there would be no criminal charges.. So in the end..it was all about Crystal's Godmama stirring up shit because she didnt like Hill..and the fact he was about to get paid. Only the Star was stupid enough to bite... |

This has been one character assassination after another. |
I hope it comes out that Crystal coached her son to say these things. Imagine how many people will be fired. Florio gone. Brooke gone!

If she was assaulted by Tyreek it would be on every news channel...24/7
|
The entire audio recording is BS....Tyreek wasn't on the witness stand, he was walking through an airport, in public. His mind wasn't totally focused on the conversation, couldn't have been. Yet, this audio is being hailed as the smoking gun!
If I'm in public and my wife is chirping negative shit at me, for all to see, I wouldn't be able to respond properly to her accusations......I'd be thinking more about everyone watching than her ridicule. Taping him in that setting is BS too. The audio will be tossed! |

I just have a feeling Monday is a big day.
If we can get through Monday, perhaps we have a slight glimmer of hope of him staying on this team. |
i agree with florio...chiefs should lose draft picks for knowingly drafting scumbags.

I just hope Hunt learned his lesson with Kareem and keeps him SUSPENDED but ON the TEAM until a final determination is made by both the authorities and the NFL. The Chiefs literally gave KH to the Browns for nothing and they'll have a top 3 RB for the last half of the season and playoffs. This doesn't fit with the moral majority here very well but it does make business/football sense.

Penalize the Chiefs for drafting a guy with a dv history. You are aware that KHunt didn't have one, correct? Don't penalize other teams for drafting a guy with dv history. Don't penalize other teams for signing THE SAME GUY with dv history Now, what about teams who draft murderers? If the Chiefs are stripped draft picks for drafting Hill, are the Patriots penalized for Hernandez? What about Gordon, Michael Floyd, Kenny Brit, Corey Dillon, Albert Haynesworth, and Aqib Talib, Alfonzo Dennard? Obviously they aren't all murderers, but the Pats have employed some high-moral guys amirite? What about PED users and the cheating scandals? |

The issue is with the NFL not any particular team. Hunt should not be on another team at this point. Any suspension should come from the league. If another team wants a player suspended the previous team should be due compensation. If DV is such a big issue treat it universally in all cases. Players that enter the draft with a DV issue can start out with a strike. The Chiefs are no more guilty than any other team. And now we see the good graces we received from doing the "right" thing and cutting Hunt.

This recording wasn't intended to be used how it ended up being used. It was done as a blackmail/extortion chip...to be used to control Hill. It's why she gave it to her friend...in case Hill freaked out when she told him she had it. So yes...Crystal in no angel. ...and it brings back grandmama's initial motive in this whole thing...which was to extort cash. |

The girlfriend must have just been trying to extort Hill with the recording and Hill must have thought his brand of corporal punishment for a 3 yr old was just good parenting, right? Child abuse is a crime. A pretty damn horrible one at that.Safe guarding a recording with a third party from a child abuser is not a crime. |

The Chiefs didn’t knee jerk anything. There was genuine outrage. Lest we forget, he lied to Reid, Hunt and the rest of the Chiefs. He said he never left the room. He was adamant. What would you have them do at that point? You don’t get to flat out lie to your employer, get caught and expect to keep your job. |

If there’s no charges then he will probably play this year. I’ll be curious to see how the NFL handles it. I think the Chiefs got burned with Hunt so they will sit back and wait before doing anything. |
