That’s the only hope I’m hanging on, that fumble they forced on Kelce and against the Pats last week? That was Brady breaks. Nothing you can do against breaks like that.

Let’s do an easy one so that I can see you’re legit. Let’s bet a straight 10k even-up on Chiefs/Bengals should they meet in the playoffs. Only stipulation is that Burrow and Mahomes have to each play at least one quarter or the bet is a push (ie, I don’t think it would be fair for either of us if the outcome weren’t dependent upon the QBs we’re debating). If you’re up for that, I’ll DM you to exchange contact information and we can talk on the phone to confirm this is something very real.

After that, we can graduate to the specifics of the MVP/SB wager.

Fair?

No. I'm not that guy who thinks goading people into making sketchy bets online makes me smarter or tougher.

I'd have to be an idiot to bet on the Bengals winning in KC after what's happened the last 300+ days. Even if they play in Cincy, i'm a bigger believer in the law of large numbers.

About our QB? Of course we were. But he had just won an MVP award and was coming off a 50 TD, 5000 yard season in his very first season starting in the NFL.

About our team? No. We hadn’t won a Lombardi in 50 ****ing years. What shit did we have to talk?

But after the 2019 run, yeah, you better believe we were dishing it out. And rightfully so.

Burrow and the Bungles have yet to win anything. All your talk reeks of desperate bravado until proven otherwise . . . . .

But if the Bengals are the superior team, the law of large numbers need not be in KC’s favor? You do know how that works, right?

What makes it a sketchy bet? They’ve played 3 times and the Bengals have won each time. You are explaining how the Bengals are the superior team and Burrow is the superior QB. Would it make you feel better if we do a moneyline wager when the time comes?

Chiefs won’t lose at home to the Bengals again. Our offense will also be significantly more difficult to defend compared to our last meeting bc we will have Hardman and Toney.

Because I had planned to bet this money on this game anyway and this would just be so much more of a fulfilling way to do it.

And you felt the need to throw around your financials - alleged or
otherwise - like it was going to intimidate me. You chose…unwisely. And I’m merely asking for you to make a harmless bet that no one with your - alleged - means would be troubled by. That’s all.

Mark it down that it’s much harder to keep winning when you don’t get the luxury of drafting Top 10 every year. Give it a couple more years and let’s see how your team looks when you are drafting later every year.

Shut your mouth. You couldn't eviscerate a ****ing ravioli if someone was guiding the knife for you.

You remind me of a guy that used to troll the Bengals MB. He was a steelers fan and he lived in the land of delusion where everything he typed was Johnny Carson worthy and every look at every lady meant he was getting it wet that night.

He was none of that. He was just an old blowhard with bad spelling and a worse sense of humor.

I actually like Burrow but that part is just nonsense. Burrow was a nobody who couldn’t crack the starting lineup at tOSU and had to transfer to LSU where he did nothing until he was surrounded by one of if not the most stacked teams in CFB history. That team was so good they got Orgeron a NC. He then comes to Cincy and it took having Boyd, Higgins, Mixon, and Chase to make that offense hum. Show me evidence of Burrow doing anything significant without being surrounded by elite skill players. If not he’s not the GOAT you claim he is.

When Ja'Marr Chase was out with a hip, he made Tee Higgins the NFL leader in receiving yards those 4 weeks.

Last Sunday he threw 2 touchdowns to Trenton Irwin. Do you know who Trenton Irwin is?

Two weeks ago, he threw one of his 4 touchdowns to Mitchell Wilcox. Ever heard of him?

His rookie year he was throwing to another rookie in Higgins, a washed, disinterested AJ Green, Boyd and a nobody, blocking TE named Drew Sample. He threw for 300+ yds 5 times in his first 7 games which includes a 400+ game and was on pace for another 400 yd game before he blew out his knee in Wash, and according to the talking heads, was the leader for RoY.

Burrow's really ****ing good.

He's my QB2 in all of football.

Luckily, we have QB1.

But the institutional advantages of the NFL are about to hit the Bills and Bengals as they'll have to pay their elite QB as well as deal with drafting at the bottom. We'll see what's what then. We've been doing it for YEARS now.

And their bill is coming due. We're paying Mahomes as elite, and we're still right there in contention for a championship. How will they fare when they have to do that?

There's no such thing as "without". It happened.

Without Mahomes getting the football 2" over the plane on 4th and goal, they don't get that TD and lose 27-17. See how dumb that sounds?

So what? We averaged 6.5 per play too and scored more points than you did.

Total drives; 8 per team.

Bengals 153 yds rushing.
Chiefs 138 yds rushing.

Bengals 431 yds on offense.
Chiefs 349 yds on offense.

Burrow 2 tds 126.6 rating
Mahomes 1 td 98.2 rating

Don’t get me wrong, I do like Burrow and while he is your #2, he’s my #3 (I still take Allen over him, but that’s more semantics). My post is directed towards him because he has claimed Burrow as the new GOAT. Not just good or even great, but GOAT. Would genuinely like to see the evidence for that as he produces with stacked talent, especially on offense.

As you stated, the bill is coming due and when Burrow starts collecting $50 million + a year and Chase is looking at $25 million + a year it will be tough to have a stacked offense. If he’s the GOAT like rfaulk34 claims then that should be no problem. I do know one QB in this league who did more with less in college and is now doing it this year in the NFL.

Sadly I still want them to win. Would love seeing them get smashed next weekend by the Ravens though. I want to hate what Mixon said, but in reality they are the defending AFC Champs until proven otherwise.

That wasn't forward progress. He got hit by a large man and went back 2 yds. Was never in control by any defender and kept pushing forward.

Every.****ing.Day.

P.S. Elway lost 3 SBs before winning his two. "most qbs" doesn't matter to Burrow.

Burrows best chance was last year against a dreadful Rams team. Couldn’t even seal the deal then, what a clown. Mahomes would have won that game handily. Unlike Burrows who couldn’t seem to figure it out. Don’t expect you to understand. You Bungles fans do t even know what a SB trophy looks like. But you’ve sure got your bridesmaids dress picked out! Maybe one day you’ll catch the bouquet, but I highly doubt it! Burr0-1 eat it!

the point is, your squad doesn't have the horses to even slow us down

Burrow will likely never have as good a chance to win a SB as this year with his salary and current set of receivers. Going to suck for them when he doesn’t get it this year as I think it’s pretty obvious they peaked too early. They’ve been incredibly fortunate to win the last two games but here’s to hoping they have one more horseshoe left for Monday.

What if i was a Bengals fan that lived in Missouri or Kansas? You just called the Chiefs a loser team, brainiac.

You’re just like the majority of your shitty fans. You live in West Virginia/Kentucky , and root for a team whose state you can’t afford to live in. Or you’ll get kicked off food stamps, and Medicaid. We know all about you regurgitated turds!

He’s only done it 2 times so far LMAO! I’m sure he’ll do it 2 in a row now. ****tard.

Not often you get to see TC drop the big money dick on the table. (But most of CP can vouch for the fact that he's absolutely not exaggerating.)

Nah. His best chance is coming this post season.

Burrow has a better skillset than Mahomes and Allen for the long haul. He will be able to sit in the pocket, like Brady, and throw to average WRs, still making the playoffs and winning super bowls.

I'm sensing a lot of projection here...

Not even close to accurate. Mahomes is very good in the pocket and is already throwing to average WRs. Him moving out of the pocket is not because of designed runs but because he’s under pressure. Burrow takes far more abuse in the pocket which long term takes its toll. Plus let’s hold off on saying that he will make it to or win a SB with average WRs until he actually does have average WRs. From #1-#3 Cincinnati has the best trio of WRs in the league with Chase being a legitimate Top 3-4 WR right now.

If he’s dishonest on that one has to wonder what else he’s dishonest about.

Weaker arm, worst pocket presence, more sacks, more interceptions, more fumbles, less creativity but sure whatever you say.

KC_Connection 12-31-2022 06:47 PM

The Bengals and their fans talk a lot of shit for a team that hasn't accomplished much of anything. On one level, I really want to see Josh Allen put them in their place on Monday. Unfortunately the other outcome is the one more beneficial to us at this point.

At least as many as Patty. Probably more. Lately, Burrow has been throwing tuddys to Mitchell Wilcox and Trenton Irwin. Lots of them. Ever even heard of those guys?

So he’d probably have more TDs despite having less now with much better receivers? Were you dropped on your head?

Without Mahomes getting the football 2" over the plane on 4th and goal, they don't get that TD and lose 27-17. See how dumb that sounds?

Except that Mahomes could convert that play again and again. Kelce won’t fumble again in 1000 tries.

Other than that, great comparison.

Hey Siri, have the Cincinnati Bengals EVER won a Super Bowl?

“No, the Bengals have NEVER won a Super Bowl title. They are one of 12 INEPT NFL franchises to NEVER earn the Lombardi Trophy.”

Come back when your team wins at least one, boy…

That skillset better include the ability to recover from knee surgeries and concussions because he takes more unnecessary hits than any QB in the top 1/3rd the league...

Getting the number one seed would be a plus for sure but I'm not too worried about going to the Super Bowl from number two seed. I just like to see Buffalo and the Bengals beat each other up. I hope they tie.

For me it's not so much getting to play at home as it is getting the easier matchup. If I had the choice of playing at home or getting to play Miami instead of Buffalo I'd play Miami on the road.

Im liking this rfaulk34 guy!

Hes hanging in there unlike most other fans. He is proud of his team, as well he should be.

Bengals ARE the AFC defending Champs (Fact).

Burrow in one hell of a QB! I really thought it was going to be Herbert in the mix with Mahomes and Allen but Burrow blew right by Herbert.

Bengals and Burrow are in the elite teams tier (Fact).

BUT, I worry more about the Bills and Chargers in the playoffs. There is NO WAY Mahomes and the Chiefs will lose to the Bengals for a forth time in a row.

In fact we may never lose to the Bengals, ever!

I love me some QBs, always have. Its amazing to have this group of young QBs almost immediately after Manning, Brady, Brees.

Everyone was wondering what would happen when all the studs retired and boom, we got a whole new crew. Its awesome!

Be proud rfaulk34 your QB is in that group!

Ours however, is the King! Patrick Lavon MahomesII, MVP, SBMVP, SBCHAMP!
