NFL's entire business depends on this game getting played this week. It's gonna end up happening one way or the other I think in the next few days, but it's going to look awful to the league to push forward.

If they get word that Hamilton is stable and going to be OK, no reason not to resume the game.* Otherwise, need to postpone until tomorrow.

*The NHL restarted the game after the got word that Clink Maralchuk was stable after his injury.

Bills could decide to call it a draw and the Bengals could agree to it. A tie for both teams- hurts them in the playoff standing though.

Really isn't any different then when they had to postpone\move games for Covid from a scheduling perspective.

But yeah moving it to tomorrow won't help the players and what they are dealing with.

Don’t think like that. The med staff was on him quickly. CPR was quick. Much less athletic folks have survived longer while under CPR. Getting to the person quickly is the key.

From a competitive standpoint, I’d love it if it were called a tie and they added another playoff team to the mix and no one had a bye.

There’s nothing fulfilling about the Chiefs potentially gaining literally any advantage from this outcome.

Was at a golf tourney at Pebble Beach earlier this year and a man dropped without a pulse near the 18th green. CPR went on for 20 minutes, then they defibrillated, took him to the hospital in Monterey. He went home with his family 6 hours later. CPR administered immediately maintains the status quo of the patient...it's the underlying issue that caused the heart to stop that's the real question.

The problem is the Chiefs have to play the same day as the Bills or cinci if the number one seed is on the line. So they would have to push back the Chiefs game too to Monday.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game is never replayed. The Bills and Bengals will keep their current records into the final game of the season.

All depends on Hamlin's status of course. His status likely determines if/when this game gets replayed. If he passes away, they're not playing tomorrow.
