JD has a nerve issue that there is just no apparent resolution for. It flares up randomly, and when it does, he loses almost all feeling in his legs. He warmed up again UT and as he was walking back to the locker room, he collapsed in the tunnel. That's why we were so unprepared with Bean, staff had no clue it was happening.

It's basically a worse version of what sidelined him last season for a bit. The most troubling part is that medical staff isn't really sure how to fix it.

All of the transfer talk, especially USC (that's the most common rumor) is garbage. USC has the #1 overall QB recruit in Malachi Nelson sitting on their bench this season. They aren't transferring in a dude with an unknown medical condition. It's all bullshit from KStaters who want it to be true.

Ah, I should have read your post first. Yeah, like I said rumors. And we all know rumors are often times BS.

If Iowa State and KU both win out, then both finish with 2 conference losses. KU would have the head to head.

That also means Iowa State would have the head to head with Texas, while Texas has the head to head with KU. What’s the next tie breaker in that situation?

K State would get eliminated by KU. WVU likely loses to OU this weekend. OU could also win out with losses to KU and OSU only. I think those tie breakers would eliminate them maybe?

So basically, it would end up with KU, Iowa State, OU, and Texas with 2 losses each. OSU makes it with 1 loss.

Who would make it if that happens?

Here’s my brief takeaway:

If we don’t get lucky with winning out AND either Texas or OSU dropping 2, then we root for several teams to finish with 2 losses and hope the numbers work in our favor.

I would hope that he would get healthy and stick around and help us win the B12 but who knows what is going through his mind. His back issues have been a big problem for 2 seasons now. :( If we have to move on then I'm okay with that. But if he stays here and can be healthy, he is our best QB.

A healthy Daniels is one of the best QBs in the nation. We would likely be undefeated if he were healthy and the starter.

That said, if he leaves to get PAID somewhere else, I'm good with it. Daniels health concerns likely mean he won't have much, if any, career in the NFL and the young man might as well get paid now.

Pretty terrible opening drives for both sides of the ball.

Shoved thst right down Kansas throat and Kansas likes it.

Hopefully we just keep running it up the middle on first and second down. Don't change the play calling at all it's working so effectively.
