In the first Super Bowl the 49ers defense was damn good (look at what they did to Aaron Rodgers in the NFC Championship Game that year) and Mahomes’ stat line in the 4th quarter of that game powered the Chiefs to the win. And of course in the Bucs Super Bowl, Mahomes was playing behind a dog shit offensive line and getting no help from his pass catchers (see the multiple drops and no separation from the non-Tyreek/Kelce guys). Context is key. |

there is absolutely no respect for the chiefs defense

Mahomes, however, will need to play a great game this time around, otherwise the "doesn't play well in the Super Bowl" thing is gonna stick. |

Our defense is being seriously underrated. The team on the field Sunday is miles better than the first half of the season and our secondary has come on strong. Not to mention our d line had the second most sacks in the nfl with a much more difficult schedule but all you hear about is philly’s d line. And our o line has given up less sacks than Philly. Those points are being overlooked by doubters.

Agree the D is just completely under the national radar. They held back to back playoff opponents to 20 points. That wins when your QB is Mahomes.

Had a lil bit of a drive yesterday listening to 610.
These Philly fans and media are LMAO. They think they're the 85 Bears. |
the sheer level of wishcasting by the national media is truly something to behold. they really, really do not want a flyover town dynasty.
