If we got the threepeat, I doubt we'd spend so much time talking about arm lengths the last few weeks.

Having long arms obviously didn't help the recent Chiefs projects at tackle.

Okay, what if they are willing to settle for competent, usually loses slowly?

Current NFL LTs under 34" Arms (from top 40 in snaps played)

Alaric Jackson 32.500 or 33.875 (depending on source)
Bernhard Raimann 32.875
Rashawn Slater 33.000
James Hudson III 33.000
Taliese Fuaga 33.125
Larry Borom 33.125
Jake Matthews 33.325
Jaylon Moore 33.375
Rasheed Walker 33.625
Walker LIttle 33.750
Taylor Decker 33.750

So not all is lost. Some good tackles in that list like Raimann, Slater, Matthews, and Decker.

Pat just needs adequate. He doesn't need Jonathan Ogden

This is why they never called him. But apparently he’s healthy now?

I mean he and Rosenhaus can say what they want but the history is there. It’s a horrible injury with a bad track record.

JC Jackson, Jerod Mayo, Victor Cruz and Drake Jackson all had this injury and none of them were the same again.

Things are looking tough at the moment

Looking at a Smith, Humphries, Suamataia camp battle

Zero percent chance that happens. They’re signing a left tackle, and it won’t be either of those scabs. It might not be anyone to get excited about, but it’ll be better than what we had.

Looks like Ronnie Stanley is off the table. Expected to re-sign with Baltimore in the coming days...Veach had several years to get the LT situation taken care of and we may be down to signing Donovan Smith

Donovan Smith is dead, guys.

Stop bringing him up as an option. There are a handful of veteran options available to us that are better than Donovan freakin Smith.

KCUnited 03-04-2025 07:58 AM

Jake Paul wants to fight Donovan Smith, thats how cooked his is

Sure, as soon as we don't have to hear anymore about an even more worthless option in DJ Humphries.
