Unfortunately, the main guy who will be responsible for possibly choosing that quarterback is the same guy who felt completely comfortable coming into this season with Cassel as his starting QB and Palko as his backup.

I really want Pioli to be the man, but he's had 3 years to start putting his stamp on this team, and looking at the disparity in talent and size between these 2 teams tonight is just depressing. If not for DJ, Hali, and Bowe--players Pioli inherited--the disparity would be even more dramatic.
