They are just playing under a lucky star tonight

siberian khatru 10-25-2014 09:22 PM

The BABIP fairy has been extremely unkind to us

Just know. If they let me manage the bullpen, we win this game.

That, indeed, is embarrassing

Who pitches after Davis? How long does Davis go?

GloryDayz 10-25-2014 09:22 PM

Oh my, a lead-off man on.. How rare! We're more sporting, we usually wait for two outs to get on!

The alternative that just happened is not better than that? Definitely not an obvious choice to bring him in, but sure wish he would have

Well it's easy to win arguments when you use hindsight. Maybe it was the right move. I can certainly see the logic of it. Just use your best guy and get out of it. But then you're only through 6 innings, you basically only have Collins and Herrera left to get you through the 9th if the game remains tied... and if it's still tied then, you're probably going to have to burn an extra starter, with your offense facing Affeldt/Romo/Casilla.

It was a tough situation either way. This was not a no-brainer call by any stretch. The bullpen was already stretched out and in a tough spot.

Said it with 1 out after Posey **** head

PACHIEFSFAN 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

Heard earlier today that Herrera was going to be rested because he was getting worn down, but during the pregame, they claim Yost said the reliever were all available. Seems now he may be resting Herrera, that's why Finny is out here in the 7th.

KCCHIEFS27 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

Hey, if they're getting hits like that then its just not gonna go our way tonight..

TomBarndtsTwin 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

Lady Luck hanging with the G-men tonight.

Every ****ing hit is a blooper, high chopper, slow roller, off the end of the bat bullshit.

Oh well, just not our night . . . .

Get em tomorrow.

GloryDayz 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

Now they'll squeeze the zone and let their flat swings do the rest!

Kidd Lex 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

Understand the way we feel watching all these dinks and dunks and infield hits is what we've done to teams nearly this entire postseason....maddening

Simplicity 10-25-2014 09:23 PM

How long do we keep Finny in there? Holy shit...
