The mistake that they made was bringing him up in 15 so now everyone's expectations are that he SHOULD be Trout or Harper at this point.

That's baseball right there. Hammel gets squeezed on a third strike that would have finished the inning, and it leads to the Astros blowing it up into a big inning.
