Steve Wyche retweeted from Rapoport that a deal was in place for a 2nd and a 5th. He was in KC working on a deal.
Found out on bleacher report twitter section |
that's from a fake twitter account

Rapshert LMAO

Berry + Thomas would be a nice Jolt to this defense. Add a stud CB next year to cap that DB group off. Then we would only really have the DL and OLBs to worry about.
A 2nd and 5th? Deal. Use our 1st & 2nd on a stud CB & OLB next year. |

**** that. Get rid of Berry instead. |

Thomas wants Dallas and money. He doesn't want to play here and we can't pay him shit anyway. It's not happening and Fescoe has gone full stupid on this subject.
He said if Veach can't get Thomas then Clark should be forced to sell the team because he traded Peters. Fescoe is soooo damn stupid it's crazy he's on the radio. KC practically had no choice but to trade Peters. He wasn't going to stay and is a head case problem. He was in college and is now. |

Uh huh sure. If you are going to give me the money excuse you have no idea how this works. Also the idea that "he doesn't want to be here" is stupid. He wants to be compensated, maybe he'd like to play close to where he's from but I'm sure he'd be happy to get his money either way. Also Peters hadn't made **** you money so the Chiefs could have controlled him till he was 30 if they really wanted to do that...some of these narratives about players wanting to stay or be here are completely overblown. |

"According to multiple reports, the Seattle Seahawks have come to terms on a long-term contract extension with safety Earl Thomas that will make Thomas the highest-paid player at his position. According to Pro Football Talk, the deal will add four years, $40 million and $27.725 million guaranteed to Thomas' Seahawks career. New Orleans safety Jairus Byrd received a six-year, $54 million deal in free agency, when the Saints plucked Byrd away from Buffalo in March. Byrd's contract has $26.3 million in guaranteed money." |
And he actually took less than he could have gotten had he tested the market...

This is going to end like the Breeland deal did. I just hope we can pass 3000 posts before it does!
