This post does not comport with the statement you're a long time lurker but decided to post in order to defend Clay. If you pay attention to CP at all, you'd know how idiotic the above statement is to acutal reality. There's not any need to compare mental acumen or life achievements on a make believe alternate universe such as CP, but I'm guessing he'd dust you.
Here's the overall problem with you addition to the fan fiction creation that started this whole mess: nothing has actually been revealed that is of significance. The original story killed it's credibility early and often. And then threw in a bunch of nonsense about race to boot. You've stayed away for the most part in regards to that fluff, but then you turn around and say ridiculous things like One Arrowhead Drive is closely monitoring this thread ROFL You think they're going to take any direction from a message board that talks more about antifreeze and AIDS trees than it does X's and O's?? As if they give two shits what a bunch of keyboard losers (I'm including myself in this insult) think about who the OC of their multi-billion dollar franchise should be. GTFO.
What we've ACTUALLY learned thus far is that there is clearly smoke around EB not being retained or signed to a new contract. You didn't need Clay's "breaking news" or your addition to figure that out. Certain players might not get along with EB....well **** me running, I would have never thought of that myself!
At the end of the day, you should've just said something as simple as "I have a few buddies that have told me there's some significant friction with EB and certain players" There was no need for the soliloquy your additions have turned into. You've been your own hype man (with some help from Clay for obvious reasons) that's been chopping at your own credibility without even knowing it.
I don't even doubt your best friend and neighbor works for the Chiefs. It's not like that's unlikely. My wife's cousin squirts water in Mahomes mouth on the field during every timeout. He's been an equipment manager for almost 30 years. YOU turned this "confirmation" into a shitshow when you could've just simply said that you've heard similar along the lines of EB and key players bumping heads. There was absolutely no need for the optics/race stuff, the claim that Clark Hunt reads CP, your sources need protection from being fired, etc. |
