Just accept what this year is, it's a shitty LT year in the draft and in FA. Even William Campbell has a questionable arm length.

This is probably why Trey Smith got tagged, this is gonna be another patchwork LT year.

Like it or not, a full off season and conditioning program for D.J. Humphries is likely the solution the Chiefs are leaning towards for LT this year.

That would be absolutely pathetic if that's the plan.

I think you need to have a realization moment that this is not a good OT year in any way shape or form.

If that's what Veach has to end up pivoting to after multiple failed attempts to address it, it's ****ing gross but whatever. To actually have that as the plan of attack is bordering on malfeasance. DJ Humphries is a ****ing brokedick, and an off-season conditioning program won't change that.

No. Go **** yourself. DJ Humphries is a ****ing waste of time. Plug in and develop Kingsley if that's how supposedly bad it is then, because you're going to be forced into doing it mid season anyway when Humphries inevitably goes out for the season again.

So overpay for Cam Robinson?

They may just throw numbers at it dude. Having 2 of Donovan Smith, DJ Humphries, Jedrick Willis in here to compete for fair deals would not be the end of the world.

The worst possible thing Veach could do is pass on BPA bc he reached for another project in the first rd based on need.

You're going to be heavily disappointed when the season starts because it's pretty obvious the Chiefs had a conversation and came to the conclusion this is a terrible year to try to fill LT.

That's neat, we're all going to be heavily disappointed at the end of the season when the LT situation once again costs us in the Playoffs. At least if the plan is that worthless brokedick.

What would you have done differently at our draft positions, within reason trades or free agency?

Sign Cam Robinson or play Kingsley Suamataia. I'd gladly do either of those than try band aiding once again with a brokedick in the twilight of his career.

What the **** do you expect them to do? Would it make you feel better if they throw 100 million dollars at it and it's still an issue?

Sassy Squatch 03-04-2025 11:51 AM

And with hindsight I wouldn't have even bothered with the Hopkins trade since he ended up being about as useful as tits on a hog and used that capital instead on Robinson. At least then we'd know for sure whether he'd be worth keeping around, but regardless he's far more useful than Humphries since he can, you know, actually play.

tyton75 03-04-2025 11:53 AM

sure would be nice if Jawaan could flip to LT.. there are some really good RT's in the draft

Mecca 03-04-2025 11:55 AM

Cam Robinson isn't even good.
