Yeah, but this stuff isn't magic. The first time Yost stretched Davis after everyone threw a fit about it, Davis lost his scoreless streak. When you start asking guys to do things they aren't used to doing, it can work, but it's not a computer simulation either. You make a legitimate argument, but you are full of yourself if you think that strategy is 100% bulletproof.

As did I, I explained we needed swing throughs to get away from the babip lucky star. Davis has a gear that's just unexplainable this year. The hope is to use him, kelvin, and holland to get the last 12 outs. If we can't score at that point we are at worst in the same spot we are in now.

I agree that the series isn't over, but the Royals need to beat Bumgarner. Winning two in a row isn't an easy task against a team like this. (we already did it once!)
