Today didn't surprise me. Also Alex got called out to end the game on a pitch that was a half foot outside. Bad teams get bad calls.

Fangraphs did an article on strike zones last year. We have pitchFx data which shows how many strikes should ve called vs what are

We are currently about 4.5 games ahead of the pace of the 1962 Mets (that is not much of a gap when the bottom will probably fall out when players like Moose & Esky are traded in the next 5-6 weeks).
