There are some major inconsistencies you just have to live with when watching zombie shows. Like, all of the dead people in cars on the highway. If everyone is infected, they would be zombies stuck in their seatbelts.

They didn't do a very good job creating a realistic geography. Rick and Shane walked forever into the woods and ended up within site and earshot of Hershel's farmhouse? Then the zombie herd was alerted by Carl's gunshot. Mhasnt there been about a 1000 gunshots before that one? It looked like there was about 500 zombies coming out of the woods. Why hadn't anyone seen them before? They have only been out in the woods about 1000 times prior to that.

I like the show, really like it at times, just want to see the writing improve some.

Winter's coming. Swamp's drying up and freezing over.

This herd has been walking for who knows how long? It's probably not a group of "local" zombies who have been lurking around in the area forever just waiting for the right moment. We saw a smaller migratory herd that passed them all on the interstate scene at the opening of season 2. Now, it's somewhat unrealistic that this massive zombie herd just happened to run on a collision course with the farm, but that doesn't particularly bother me.

The whole Rick and Shane walking all night then having their showdown close to the homestead did bother me, though.

This is correct.

Sounds good.

Lori should be safe then

Smash cut to her standing on in the middle of the zombie horde as they all totally ignore her and shamble by.

This.

It looked like it could be a zombie herd of around 50+. If people recall at the beginning of season 2 they showed a zombie herd of around 100. In the comics, the herds can reach the size of thousands.

Derp

Anyway...

It's looking fairly likely that Carol is going to bite it pretty soon. She's had more and more lines in the last few episodes and in the preview it looks like she's surrounded.

My money is on her and Maggie's older sister, not the one that tried to slit her wrists (remember kids, down the highway, not across the street!).

That's the chick that was feeding the chickens to the barn-Walkers, right?

Correct.

In that case, I agree that she's definitely zombie food. I wonder if the Walkers will break her leg first? :hmmm:

I'm going to guess everyone but Daryl, the Grimes's, and Glenn.

One or two others may survive (Andrea?, Maggie?), but I would be very surprised if they killed off any of those five characters.

We still have the Daryl-Merle storyline to get through in future seasons.

can't be too sure, but imma gonna have to guess, it's gonna be a bloodbath.
