I was drinking a **** ton of Crown, because again, I'm superstitious as **** about dumb shit when it comes to baseball. It's one of the reasons I LOVE the game. Shit started when I played Little League, and as I got older and wiser, I never knew any better in baseball.

Needless to say I won't be drinking again during this series as long as we're winning! When we win though? #BeRoyal #DrinkTheCrown

Why Not? 10-22-2014 10:53 PM

Same here.

The next 2 games are very winnable. Would love to be 3-1 before Game 5, and I'd imagine that Bumgarner will be pitching game 5.

Well sure. But it's going to be clinched in KC. And that is spectacular.

Are you probably right? Sure, but I'm not saying that, conceding it, or even thinking about it. Just win, baby! If I had free tickets to games 6 and 7 that wouldn't change. Everyone thought we'd lose at least one in Anaheim, and Baltimore too.

I think if we win Friday and take home field back, he'll pitch 4. He was dominating, and I really think we're gonna get after Hudson. Time will tell...

Well, if you are going to bring superstition into this, we should just STFU.

Shields should be out of the rotation, and if not the Royals' will deserve what will happen when he shits his pants again because they didn't heed the warning of James being overwhelmed by the pressure.

Ah, shit. I forgot our pitchers have to hit. That's not good.

Honestly how much would you pay to re sign Butler?

Whatever is the going rate for DHs with no power.

The guy had a couple of great seasons just a couple years ago. He's only 28.
I'll be sick if he hits 25 HRs with another team next year.

With our pitching stable I don't think that is going to be a problem. Once we get to the 5th inning we will probably start seeing a PH each time they come up anyway.
