I'm wondering if Carol has another agenda. I dunno, the way Morgan was watching her when she left, my daughters boyfriend was saying he felt like Carol was leaving on a mission, one which she felt she had to do alone. Basically, the letter was a lie because she knew they'd never let her do it. Possibly a solo attack on Negan...I'm just spit balling here, but it's just so suddenly out of character for her to do that. If she really did just leave, how can she expect that Daryl won't come after her?

This bothered me, too. From a character standpoint, Daryl knows how to drive a stick.

They think Negan is dead. I don't read the comics, so my viewpoint is based solely on the show.
